I love the catalog!  Can't wait to put some precious plants in the warm ground.  What tomatoes would you recommend for up at the cabin (zone 3 - 25 miles NW of Hibbing)?  -Amy S.

I have recently come across from wholesome bacon and I am already looking forward to tasy BLT sandwiches made with Heritage Garden tomatoes - I also waiting for your tomatoes to make my favorite  tomato, cucumber, parsley, red onion chopped fine salad with a light olive and vegetable oil and fresh lemon and lime dressing! Hope to see you in March back in Minnesota!

We planted our first tomato & pepper seeds on January 29th. The first tomato sprouts arrived February 3rd. It is starting to feel more like Spring.

We are in our conference-a-go-go schedule until the end of February. We have been to the Minnesota Organic Conference, NOFA-NY Farming & Gardening Conference and are leaving for the Missouri Organic Association Conference tomorrow. Next week is the Ohio Ecological Food & Farming Conference, then Wisconsin Grazing Conference and wrapping up with the mother of them all, MOSES Organic Farming Conference in La Crosse.

 

Thanks for all you do and the hard work you put into your passion.  Thanks for your generous heart and allowing us to savor the fabulous tomatoes which are apart of our rich heritage.  Dad would have been elated and proud to see all the beautiful and delicious red fruit your garden bore.  He would love to have been a part of it.  Love, Patty Ann
