1st Day of School August 31, 2010
On a sunny Tuesday Morning the doors of Holy Family Parish School opened.K4 and some K5 children spent their first day in bright colorful and friendly classrooms surrounded by their new classmates and soon to be their good friends.
They toured the school, learning where the important rooms were located....the library, gym, music room, art room and the cafeteria...AND the main office where they were
greeted by Mrs. Wagner's and Mrs. Little's warm smiles.
The rest of the student body were so familiar with the school but now they were in a new classroom with a new teacher. Unfamiliar faces were in some classrooms as we have
many new families who have joined Holy Family. Kids grew taller, some teeth fell out and some teeth grew in over the summer.....SMILES were everywhere by the end of the day...
Enjoy some photos of that first day. If you have photos from Tuesday to share, please contact the office to get the password to upload photos. We'd love to see what moments you captured.
WELCOME to all students and families! Go Cyclones! Have a great year and study hard! Remember... "If you think it, you can do it, so just put your wonderful mind to it!"
HOLY HILL TRIP
On a gorgeous Tuesday morning the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes set out on a trip to Holy Hill. They walked the stations of the Cross and read short prayers at each station. Sunlight filtered through the leaves of the trees...the path was very serene. Mass was held in the upper church at 11:00, followed by a lesson on the history of the Basilica, given by one of the Carmelite fathers. The kids then gathered for lunch on the grounds. A great day with friends and teachers and parents who came along....fun time on the bus.....good memories.

Parents, alumnus of Holy Family School and parishioners were in attendance.
The ceremony and readings were arranged and delivered by the 5th grade class.

Congratulations to the Class of 2010!

Thank you to Linda Zukowski,Kris Brienza, and Karen Schneider for all their work to arrange this wonderful event. These women run our SCRIP program and sold Culver's cards to further support Holy Family.
The families who attended had a great time. The manager was so impressed by the number of people and their obvious friendships. We may be small in number compared to other schools but we are mighty in so many ways that truly make a difference.
