Goals The primary goals of HBVLS are to ensure that each student will Develop the ability to fluently speak, read and write Vietnamese Develop the knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture Promote a sense of awareness and pride in the student's heritage As part of a continuous improvement process, HBVLS is committed to Recruiting, developing, and supporting a competent and caring staff. Continuous improvement of teaching strategies, and application of flexible learning programs to suit all student ages and education levels. Provide and maintain a safe and orderly environment that promotes productivity and stimulates learning.

Mọi hoạt động của trường đều nhắm vào mục đích văn hóa và giáo dục. Ban điều hành và ban giảng huấn của trường VNHB đều là những người tình nguyện. Mọi quyết định liên hệ đến hoạt động của trường đều được sự đồng ý chung của các thầy cô và Ban Điều Hành.
Trường VNHB là một tổ chức không vụ lợi (Non-Profit Organization). Quỹ hoạt động của trường hoàn toàn nhờ vào sự đóng góp và bảo trợ của các phụ huynh và các công ty.
Trong niên khóa 2008-2009, trường đã có trên 250 học sinh trong 8 lớp. Các lớp học đều được dạy vào chiều Chủ Nhật từ 2 giờ tới 4 giờ 30 tại trường St. Anthony ở Renton.
Trường VNHB luôn nỗ lực:
· Kêu gọi sự góp tay của các phụ huynh và các thân hữu trong việc tạo dựng và phát triển một ban giảng huấn hữu hiệu và tận tâm.
· Thích ứng chương trình học và phương pháp giáo khoa để các em có thể đạt được những thành quả tốt đẹp.
· Tạo dựng và bảo tồn một môi trường khuyến học, an ninh, và trật tự.
Introduction Hồng Bàng Vietnamese Language School (HBVLS) is being formed by a group of Vietnamese Parents in the greater Seattle area with the following objectives: Teach students to comprehend, read and write Vietnamese. Promote a sense of awareness and pride in the student’s heritage by introducing the Vietnamese culture, values, and history. Provide a fun and enjoyable environment for students to build friendships and community responsibilities. HBVLS offers Vietnamese language courses in the fall and spring semesters with the first semester starting in the spring of 2002. All activities conducted at HBVLS are strictly cultural and educational. All instructors and support staff of HBVLS participates in managing and makes all decisions through the democratic process. HBVLS is a not-for-profit cultural organization. At present, all staff members are volunteered parents. HBVLS supports itself primarily from donations by its members or company sponsors. The school budget is allocated in accordance with the following priorities: School supplies and teaching materials Award ceremony at the end of school year, and Special events such as Tết Trung-Thu, Vietnamese New Year Celebration
