Spring has Sprung!

Several kennel visitors over the past couple of weeks and the early spring thaw has kept us busy.

We're in the planning stages... YES, a couple of spring litters are in the works!

Keep an eye out for updates - Kim

Back from Alaska!

The Fur Rondy, the Iditarod Ceremonial Start, and the Iditarod Re-Start were awesome...

It’s hard to say what we enjoyed most about our adventures in Alaska.

Definitely last Wednesday’s training run was unforgettable!  We took out 2 of the 2012 Iditarod sled dog teams for a 15 mile training run to keep them stretched out and limber before the race...  Plus we saw 4 moose on the trail that day!  The entire time I thought about how the dogs in front of me would be making the "Big Run" in just a few days.  (THANKS BOB & JAN!)

Alaska is beautiful in the winter and WOW... that's where all the snow is this year.

Phil ran 2nd sled at the Iditarod Ceremonial start and a dog from our kennel is running lead for Bob Chlupach. Did you see Bob & Phil's photo in the the Anchorage Daily Herald newspaper?... A nice memento from the trip and experience.

We hope to upload a few photos soon.  I have to admit we missed our dogs and are happy to be home. - Kim
