40 mile stop

A desert ride... it'll be fun
At about 1:30 or so, we noticed it was getting hot. And only 60 miles to go!

This was a really steep, but mercifully short hill halfway through the ride.

We found an unused bridge (over an unused river) where we could change HP's tire

Pretty much sums up the whole day except that the bike is going downhill.

After 2 flat tires, lots of water stops, a little cussing, and about 11 hours, we did it!
