Hudson Fire Department - 2/21 I-39 Accident

Hudson Fire department was paged at 7:30 am Saturday morning to I-39 mile marker 8 for a single car rollover after the mornings light freezing rain shower. 

A Toluca woman was trapped inside her van when crews arrived on scene.  HFD was able to access from the rear and windshield of the van to rescue the woman.

The woman was then transferred to Bromenn for minor injuries. 

Hudson 3-Nora-85, Engine 102, and Command Car 105 responded.

As HFD was finishing up on this scene, Hudson Police notified the fire department that there were other cars in the ditch just up the interstate.  A total of 3 people lost control of their vehicles when approaching the overpass at Hudson. 

Hudson Fire Department encourages motorists to drive slow on icy roads and slow down when approaching accident scenes.
