Industrial-Stuff - 22 - Experts and environmentalists complaint about the future of earth

Each piece of plastic used by mankind in the last hundred years is still on our planet - in water, air or land - as it was  or in form of aggregates that penetrate even the food chain.

The environmental expert De Rothschild has decided to make a long cruise of one hundred days, from San Francisco to Sydney, on his boat entirely made of recycled plastic. The purpose of the journey is to raise public awareness about the enormous amount of plastics that is polluting our planet and about the need to "reduce, re-use, recycle and rethink."

How to solve this situation? First of all, chemistry comes to our aid: researchers in fact are discovering new types of bio-molecules that can replace the plastic with which wrappers and packaging  are manufactured.
Also plastic mould suppliers shouldn't undervalue this problem.
But that's not all: it is absolutely necessary to come back to "balance and moderation" in the use of objects, avoiding waste and trying not to confuse having a "high standard of living" with the mere consumerism.
