Testing, 1, 2...
:waves:
This is the test run of this to see if I think it's easier to use than simply uploading my albums to Shutterfly and sharing them. I'm not using Facebook because I want the family to see my pictures, too, and Facebook takes so long to upload photos!
Let me know what you think! So far, you'll find pictures of Queen Mary and the surrounding area.

New Additions
I've just added photos from my first week in London, pictures from the Thames Boat Tour, our outing to Leicester Square and the National Portrait Gallery, and the Bus Tour.
Cheers!

The Co-op
The Cooperative is a small grocery five-ish minutes from campus, if you walk out the gates and go right towards Whitechapel and The City.

Stepney Green Station
One of the two closest tube stations to Queen Mary.

This is Whitechapel!
Queen Mary is on Mile End Road. As the name indicates, Mile End Road designates the area of London that is one mile away from The City (the old London city walls and the newish financial district). Whitechapel is between The City and Queen Mary.

The Nag's Head
Another pub in Whitechapel.

Whitechapel market
Grandma's Bday and London 1 147.JPG 2008-09-18

The Blind Beggar
Apparently, this pub was the scene of a mafia-esque shooting in Whitechapel during the...early 20th Century (?). According to our tour guide, it is still notable because it's so hard to get guns in the UK.

Whitechapel Market
more market!
