Add hot water to the flour and knead. Mix the minced meat with onions and pepper, adding salt as required. Roll out flour into thin pan cake spreads. Prepare some thick gruel, by mixing flour and water, and set aside. Cut pan cake spreads into triangular shapes. Fold the pieces into shapes, filling them with the meat mixture, and close up the sides with the gruel to complete the shape. Cook the pieces in boiling oil until they turn as brownish as desired. Ready for serving.
I thank God for all He has done for me! I am dedicating this entry to my sisters, Ruth Benson, Leslie Brandi, Jo Spangler, Shelley Grimwood, Katie Stuckas, Pastor Steve, and our Tanzanian brothers and sisters! May God continue what He has planted in Tanzania over the years through Pastor Steve and teams and all of God's people. Unity and Love is the key! I speak an outpouring of the keys in 2008!
I will miss you gals this year but I know God has everything planned this way for a reason.
To all: Please keep the entire team and their families in your prayers. I will be leaving on June 27th and returning on July 12th.

Africa 2008 was another wonderful experience! We are praying and planning for funding additional construction at the new property purchased last year "Niajima" and Kitopeni including pastors homes and possibly an orphanage. Our Tanzanian brothers and sisters are so precious and hungry for more of God. The children are fabulous and such blessings. They really enjoyed playing with balloons for most for the 1st time! Thanks to Sister Kaye from California for bringing the balloons! The kids enjoy and soak up the love. It is amazing! They do not ask you for anything (most of the time other than for "Pe-pe";Swahili for Candy!). You can sometimes sit and feel someone looking at you. Only to turn around and see a precious face. When you reach out to them and hug them, they light up with joy and soak it all in!
Be sure to check out the new cookbook the Lord had Katie Stuckas publish for Tanzania Missions!!
