I cannot believe that the summer has flown by so quick and now it's time to get back to school. Seems like yesterday, I was having trouble dropping him off at St. Lukes for just 4 hours a day..still not quite sure how I am going to hold up for a whole day. This summer has been a blast and my BABY is now 5 years old. Where does the time go?

As a mother, sometimes we have to make decisions that are best for our child and I have recently had to make a big one. Jack is now attending St. Lukes again. Pottsboro Elementary was not the best fit for Jack. He is now the happy, smart little boy which we all know and love. Thanks to all who prayed for us through this journey..LIFE IS GOOD again.

So, today was the first day of school and Jack did...well..ok. He wouldn't let go of my neck for most of the morning..New school was a little tough on him, I think. He said it was a good day but didn't care to go into too much detail. He came home, had a snack, played very briefly and is now napping. Hopefully this doesn't interfere with our bedtime tonight. Tomorrow could be a rough one.

Since I didn't get to go with Jack and Gramma to meet the teacher the other night..I went by the school after work yesterday to meet the lucky lady. I ended up spending almost 2 hours talking with her. Her name is Mrs. Love..she is beautiful and full of personality. I think she is going to be a very good kindergarten teacher for our Jack Henry. She loved his name so much that she asked me if she could call him "Jack Henry"! He is the only Jack in the class! I look forward to the year to come and I just know our baby will learn so much. Her room is bright, colorful, with "learning" all over the place (from the ceiling to the floor).

So we took Jack to the Dallas World Aquarium..and he absolutely loved every second of it..with the exception of the tiger being locked up in a glass cage..He got a little upset about that. He said, "he's supposed to be outside..not locked up in the cage..that's sad." I couldn't argue..he was right. So much compassion, I love it, it lets me know that I am doing my job as a mother.
