Camp will run June 10th- 14th  from 9:00-11:00am on the Jefferson High School Turf Field.

About the Camp

The Jaguar Girl's Soccer Camp is for girl's going into 1st-9th grade who want to become better soccer players.  The highly qualified staff has years of coaching between them along with vast experiences at camps. This is our tenth year.


Players will learn individual skills and improve already developed skills. Players will learn multiple turns, moves, and strategies over the course of the week. Above all, we will teach the players the game in a manner that is both highly instructive and fun. The staff will work hard to insure that each camper has a positive experience and enjoys the game.

 

Location

The Camp will be conducted at Jefferson High School Turf Field located just west of the school. If lightning strikes or there is threat for it the camp will be canceled for the day or moved into the Jefferson Main Gym. Camp Staff

The Jefferson Players
The camp will also include numerous highly talented and motivated Jefferson players willing to give of their time. The players will be running groups of 5-10 players all week. Many very accomplished players will be in attendance.


Sarah Connelly - Jefferson Head Coach
Sarah has coached high school soccer for 16 years with the last 10 years for JHS. She is a former Jefferson player who was a 2x All-State player in high school and an All-American in college.She holds a USSF "C" license, along with a NSCAA "Advanced National" Diploma and "National" Goalkeeping Diploma.


Allison Lindman - Jefferson Junior Varsity Coach

Allison has coached at JHS for the past 9 years. Allison brings a wealth of Bloomington playing experience to the camp. She currently works at Oak Grove as a Social Studies teacher and plays soccer. Allison holds a USSF "E" license.


Cost
$55.00 per player

Each player will receive a Jaguar Camp T-Shirt and various other awards from their coaches during the week. Camp MVP’s (one per group of 10 players) will receive a new soccer ball in the awards ceremony. 

 

This Camp is a fund-raising activity for our program and coaches and players are donating their time. Thank you for your support! No refunds will be given, as all camp fees will be considered donations to our girl's soccer program. We do not have the means to offer scholarships. We use the proceeds for warm-up shirts for every player, coach trainings and events during our season, as well as a over night trip to Duluth. There is no accident insurance.

 

Schedule

Camp will run each day from 9:00 am to 11:00 am from June 10-14th (Monday-Friday)

Friday, there will be a brief awards ceremony starting at 10:45 am - everyone is welcome to come.

Daily Schedule
9:00-9:15  Group Warm-up game and stretching
9:15-9:45  Various Skills sessions
9:45-9:55  Break
9:55-10:15 Various Skills competitions
10:15-11:00 small group scrimmages and games


What to bring
Shin guards (must be worn at all times), cleats and/or tennis shoes, water, a snack, and a soccer ball.
