Girls Dinosaur Hat

I made this by following a hat pattern I had bought from etsy.com for another project.  I came up with the spikes on my own, they are all the same size.  I made the braids on the sides a little shorter so they wouldn't be any kind of hazard as this was for my 2 year old niece.  I love how this turned out!

I found this idea on Pinterest... Glue plastic cups to card board that is cut out in the shape of your storage bin....

It worked out very well with the extra styrofoam cups I had laying around. The only down fall is it leaves a lot of wasted space. i have since packed away all my ornaments and made a few adjustments. I only filled these with my old family ornaments that are extremely fragile and filled the empty space with the not so fragile ornaments we don't use much.

DIY Wine Charms -
I made these myself and they turned out great!
I made the charms with shrinky dinks, you can print off your computer right onto the regular shrinky dink paper.  be sure to punch the hole for the tiny hoops.  I used a regular hole punch and mine were the perfect size.  Follow the directions for shrinking (its only about 3 minutes in the oven)  Spray the printed side with a sealer.  I used a pottery sealer.  Be sure not to skip this step, if you do and your charms get wet they can run.  Now for the easiest part
- Put little metal hoops through your charms
- Take plain hoop earrings (you can find a bag of 6+ at Micheal's)
- Put beads and charms on hoops
"Ta Da" as my 1 year old would say!

Birdseed Pinecones This was a little messier then I thought it would be... Add a little melted butter to peanut butter, spread on the pine cones, and roll in birdseed. Don't forget to add the string before hand or it'll get even messier!

We made birdseed pine cones in the beginning of November, they are still hanging around and every now and then we catch birds hanging from them!

Reindeer noses Final Product! Another great dessert for my 4 Year old! They were so easy and quick to make. If you want to cut down the time skip unwrapping hershey kisses and pick up a bag of Candy melts at the craft store. They work just as great and they sell them in many colors.

Halloween Jello A Halloween treat that isn't candy... With a 3 and 1 year old there is not a lot of candy they can eat. I came up with this so they could still have a fun treat! I already had these orange bowls which worked perfect for this! Two easy ingredients... Jello and Mini chocolate chips. I waited until the jello was somewhat hard to add the chips. Everyone loved them and my 3 year old even made hers!
