Grand Central Terminal

Discussing directions!
Different doors lead to different streets. North. South. East. West. It was kind of confusing at first.

Outside
I couldn't get enough of the architecture!

FREE FOOD!
Pretzels from Uncle Sam!
(Our trip was on the 15th! LoL)

Subway Sign
I've always seen pictures of subway signs, but never had one of my own. Now I do! :)

The Empire State Building
It kind of hurt my neck to look up at it. And it's REALLY hard to take a picture of when you're close to it.

The Empire State Building
They're doing work on it.
See the long line to go up inside the Building? Yeahhhh....

The Empire State Building
It just goes on and on and on....and on....

IT'S A DUCK!
Too rainy for a duck tour today.

NYC from my perspective
Yes. I am really THAT short.

The Museum of Sex
Sex lives of animals? Sounds thrilling.

Broadway & W26th
When we crossed Broadway, Nate asked me, "You always wanted to be on Broadway. How did you enjoy your 15 seconds of fame?"

Avenue of the Americas

Fashion Ave
I honestly thought it was like a joke or something, that it didn't really exist, wasn't an actual street. But it's REAL. I am so "country comes to town." I know. We ate at a little deli on Fashion Ave across the street from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Inside the Fashion Ave Deli
$6.75 per lb to eat at the buffet.
They had little bitty octopuses in one of their dishes. They had their tentacles with the little stoppers on them...and EYES. It kind of made me sad. Sad, yes. Hungry? Not so much.

Inside the Fashion Ave Deli
In case you were wondering, I had a deli sandwich. Not the buffet.

Inside the Fashion Ave Deli
A student from the Fashion Institute of Technology's portfolio thingie. I was in awe.

Arriving at the studio
It's very close to the Fashion Institute

Waiting in line to go inside
There are touches of Martha even outside the building! It's a good thing!

Joey telling the crowd about the episode
NOODLES!
Joey told us we had to love noodles.

MARTHA

Nathan listening to Joey

...Martha...everywhere Martha...!

Not quite in the studio yet!
Yeah that's a metal detector back there. We had to go through security. There was even a coat check if you wanted to check your coat at the door. More security at the Martha Stewart Show than at the train station.

Silliness

I closed my eyes! Woops!

MARTHA!

MORE MARTHA!
...and...dogs!

On the Set!

Listening very intently to Martha.

Welcome from Martha
She spoke to us after taping the show. She was very soft spoken, polite and gracious. Martha is a very good hostess!

Welcome from Martha

Nate & Joey
They finally get to meet! Joey is so awesome.

KITTIES!
They were SO precious. I wish I could've gotten the whole sign. It says the property is under surveillance. I think the kitties have may have fallen asleep on the job?

Almost to Times Square

Times Square
What a city slick couple we are!

Times Square
Movies and TV just can't do it justice. It's overwhelming.

MARY POPPINS!
Playing on Broadway at the Amsterdam. Tell me if you can spot it. =P

Times Square
Can you imagine the light bill?

The Chrysler Building
That building is so gorgeous. It practically glows. There is nothing like it in the city.

In Times Square

Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum

It's blurry because I was walking in a crowd!

Had to get a picture of the sign!

Grand Central

Grand Central & Chrysler

Inside Grand Central
Basically what it says is the building is dedicated to the people who helped create it.

Busy busy!
Back in Grand Central to catch the train home!

INVASION OF THE GIANT BATH BOMBS!
While Nathan sleeps, they rule the sky.
(Me reading the newsletter from the Lush store. Check it out! www.lushusa.com)
