I haven't been good at keeping up with journaling. i thought I'd share a rather humorus story about ME, though!!
My sister and nephew David were in town this weekend and Saturday night when i got home, i was standing in my closet trying to pick something out to wear on Sunday - well, I felt a sneeze coming on and when I sneeze there is NO stopping me. I'm kind of dramatic. Anyway, so I sneeze and my head jolts forward knocking the corner of my closet door. After it happened, i just stood there like did that REALLY just happen. It hurt like h...! I don't know if i was part delerious but i just found this so darn funny. Imagining me sneezing and slamming my head into a corner. Would have made a funny video. It could have been worse. i just tore the skin and now Monday (today) its developing into a beautiful lump, walnut, knob etc. One of those incidents that are so stupid, but so darn funny. i don't think i have ever laughed this hard at myself.

Anyway, i am fine, just have a lump.

So next time i sneeze, i must be away from any door. Lesson to self!

Oh my gosh, it's already July! How did that happen. Hope everyone had a good 4th. Seems like our summers zip by after that. So sad! So we might as well make the best of the days we have. Feeling like I'm coming down w/ a cold. I'm so tired I can't stand it. Hopefully my throat will be better soon. I just haveno patience for being sick nor do I have the time.

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a nice day w/ your husbands and or dads. We went to the lakes again. First.... the month is half over! Holy cow! It was a nice weekend. Humid but nice. Today it rained and is still raining!! I like rain but when it goes on and on for days, it gets old.  Guess we just have to live with it and make the most of our days!! As you can see I'm a bit obsessed w/ taking pictures of my Gerbera daisies. I can't believe they lasted this long and its so excited to see new blooms. I thought for some reason today was the 14th, but its the 21st!! Holy Cow Man - and it is the first day of summer!

Oh my gosh, it's already JUNE. How did that happen. I'm always amazed  when a new month approaches - seems life slips by way too fast. And our summers in Fargo don't last long at all. We always say that after July 4th, the summer flies by!! Enjoy it while it lasts and take 300 pics everyday!

We went to our lakes this weekend and had three gorgeous days - hardly any wind, decent temps, and no rain. Great photo ops!! By Monday morning it was much cooler and windier. Big caps on the lake. I'm glad we had some very nice days for our first weekend at the lakes!! Woo-hoo summer is here - at last!

Today was Mother's Day and I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their loved ones. At the end of the day when everyone goes back to their own homes - I like the quiet being in my own place; watching my dorky TV shows or catching up on Shutterfly. I was happy & blessed to spend both Saturday and Sunday with my mom. It gets chaotic, but it's all worthwhile. I have the pictures to last forever! I love you Mom!

The above photos are when we celebrated my sister Traci's birthday and St Patrick's day.

I thought I'd add some fun photos. It sounds like we will make it out of this flood. Fargo is a tough community. We still have a long ways to go.

Well last week was rather rough with the flooding news, that still isn't over. It's been so devastating to all that lost their homes. So far I'm ok as are my parents. My sister is in a bit of jeopardy. I just want this all to be over soon. Then on March 27th my Uncle passed away. So that added to our stress. He had a tough battle and fought each time but now he is in peace, free of pain and any cancers. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. He was a great man.

With March came a lovely blizzard on the 10th. This photo is the side of my apartment taken on March 13th. I can't see out my kitchen window, its near that big snow drift!

Hope you all had a wonderful day with loved ones or spend a quiet/day evening by yourselves. Love is all around. There was a pancake feed today (an annual event) and four couples got married! How funny is that!

Wow, where did the month go?? It's almost February which means time for bills. It has been bitter cold here, we have a ton of snow. We just have to make the best of it and keep warm, and  not before long we'll be dealing with the messy springs and high potentials of flooding. Overall, it has been a good month. Got a couple of photobooks done, spent time with nieces and nephews. Everyone is fine and doing well and for that I am grateful. January is almost over, one more month to warmer weather. Although if I recall correct, it snowed in April last year!! Enjoy each day while we have it and keep snapping pictures!!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe we are already in the 3rd day of the new year! Goes by too fast. So get out those cameras and get snapping away! All my best to all of you who visit my site. Wishing you only the best in 2009!!

Oh my gosh, it's December. I'm behind on so many things. i need to post new pictures - i can't believe its almost Christmas. Where does the time go??

Oh my gosh, in a month its Christmas. It goes by too fast. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I hope you all enjoy your day, the food, the family/friend time and take lots of photos. No shopping for me on Friday - did that last year getting up at 5am to stand in line forever. Glad I did most of mine on Shutterfly this year! GOBBLE GOBBLE.

We played in the leaves with the girls next door to my parents. Even I got in on the fun. I created a collage page, click on the tab above, those were mostly taken on the 23rd of the kids.

Fall is in the air or its supposed to be. It's been a bit humid here. I guess it may cool down for the weekend. I tried taking some pictures of leaves but I need to get more variety in color.

Hi Everyone,

I have been waiting for my sister to send me the pictures of her and I tubing this summer. This is one reason why i like being 'in charge' of pictures, so I don't have to wait for everyone to send them to me. I think I drove her nuts but I wanted to add one to the Summer Memories 2008 book I was trying to finish. So thank you Tina! As you can see I had a BLAST. I'm in the blue life-jacket. I screamed the whole way in excitement. When we went over a wave, the more my butt sunk in the hole. It was great fun. She also sent a sweet picture of our niece Madeline. Hope you all are having a nice weekend. It has been warm for this time of year. But before we know it, it'll drop off to 45-50 degrees and keep going down and down!

Hello all, I have been lousy at keeping up with my site. I will give it more TLC this weekend. The pictures in the header are from Labor Day weekend. It was VERY windy, as you can see the waves on the 3rd picture. Looked like an ocean, well kind of. The highlight of the weekend was meeting Bambu. She is soooooooooo cute. I see a puppy book in the future. After all today is her 3 month birthday!

I thought since its now fall, or almost, that I'd change this background. it's giving me a little headache, so not sure how long it'll last. Anyway, thanks for visiting. Have a good day, Joey

A couple weeks ago my sister Traci who finds the best deals on literally everything, bought her 5 year old daughter Abby this cute spaghetti strap tank top. It  was only 25 cents but VERY cute. So Abby tries it on and it's way too big on her. So then I tried it on, and it fit. I could see in Abbys eyes she was a bit disappointed, so she said " JoJo, how about if you borrow it til I'm 7 - then it will fit me!" It was so sweet how she said it.

Hey there Joey! How's it going? I am having to stay up because get this I have to wake Jason up at 12:30am to get up to leave the house at 1 am to be at work by 2 am. Joey thank you for your comment on my journal. I laughed out loud and had to share it with Jason! We call most of our grandma's with last name except Grandma. She was the only one left. There was Granny Shotwell and Granny Edgett or Big Granny. The girls call her Gigi because she was there great grandma. She didn't wear a bra toward the end either. Probably for the last year and her response was....What for? There is nothing there! She was so funny. My aunt bought her new clothes for when she moved down here and she asked her...Who did you buy these for K'Lee?

We had all three Granny's at our house one time when we were kids and the two older ones...Shotwell and Edgett took my room. Granny Shotwell was hollering and carrying on so I went in there to check on her and she was naked sitting on the bed Hollering.....I can't find my Bra!!! Everything was exposed!! I will never forget that woman!! I have photos of Gigi and Granny Shotwell on the Edgett Family Page and the poem that K"lee is reading is on there to.

Ok I really do not know how I missed your comment about one life to live but I did and just now reading it. I tivo it ttooo everyday. I even have Jason watching it with me!!! He really gets into it. We watch it at nite when its time to go to bed. Did you see today's that crazy nut had a crow bar and a fur coat....what is up with her? What do you think about Rex not telling Gigi about sleepign with Stacy....it's gonna come back to bite him. I don't know who his father is unless they are goign to have spencer truman come back....don't remember if they killed anyone else off....

So glad you had fun at the lake and good weather! The tree picture is remarkable! We took our boat out and had a big break down - smoke rolling out of the motor....not good! Boy, was Brandon not happy! It's in the shop now- hopefully like new soon.

Hi Joey!! I am getting ready to go CAMPING this weekend. I am so excited. Lots of photos just waitin for me to take them. I just got home from walmart! :} I drop 100 everytime I go in there. Hey Joey. Prom was an unforgettable nite. I met Jason when I was actually on a date with another guy. It was normal small town Saturday nite in a pasture with a bon fire and drinking beer. Next weekend Jason was coming to my work and asking if I wanted to go to another party. Been a teenage battle ever since! LOL! We have two beatutiful children and still enjoy a party on the hill from time to time.

Ok, so i reading your latest journal entry and it got me thinking...oh my gosh I am behing in so many things...LOL. I actually thought i was doing pretty good until i started thinking about it. Geeze i haven't even posted my thanksgiving pictures yet... heck i am actually checking everyonse sites from work...hope they aren't monitoring....hee hee. How is the Christmas shopping coming along, Joey?   I have yet to start.  I am toning it down a bit this year so I only have 5 people to shop for this Christmas.  Years ago when my in-laws were still alive we would shop for too many family members.   My hubby has 4 brothers and a half a dozen nieces and nephews.  It got out of hand.
