Catching up...

Yes, I know it's been forever since I posted. Hey, I have been busy! :-) Not really that busy, just tired. Lots of stuff has happened since my last post.

I started my new job with Partsmaster and am loving it! It is outside sales, and I feel like I am starting to get the hang of it. Right now, it's a lot of hard work, and some longer hours than I would really like, but once I get in the groove, it should not be these long hours.

Moving on to more important things... In the world of Baby...

Let me just say, this kid is going to be spoiled rotten! She will have the best grandparents, best aunts and uncles, best great grandparents, best friends, and best family in the world! Hopefully, her parent's won't be too bad either.

And if you haven't already figured it out... WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!! Brady Lynn is set to grace us with her presence on Feb. 5, 2010. We are so excited to finally find out that she is a girl so we can start planning! No registries have been done yet, but we will get to it. But...she has already received her first gift. Her sweet "aunt" Jill from South Carolina sent her her first pair of high heels. They are SO precious! I can't wait for Brady to wear them home from the hospital! With her rockin outfit, too, I am sure! :-)

I was so excited when I got the package in the mail, but I had no idea what it was. Then, I opened it and the sweet card inside said "Brady, remember you can do anything...and you can do it backwards and in high heels. Love, Aunt Jill" Then, of course, I knew what it was, and ripped into the package finding the sweetest little pair of heels! (See a picture of them in the picture section of this). John even agreed that she can wear them "As long as we find the right outfit" to go with them! I can't wait!

We went to the Doctor yesterday and everything looks good! She has two arms, two legs, four chambers in her heart that is pumping well, and the sweetest little face! Okay, so I couldn't really see detail of her face, but I am sure it is precious! :-) I am 21 weeks tomorrow, which puts me on target for a Feb 5 due date.

John has been completely awesome through this whole pregnancy. When I get home and feel tired, he tells me to relax and lay down. When I say I feel like I am being lazy, he reminds me that I am growing our sweet baby. And, when I am so tired for the millionth time that week, he vacuums and dusts for me while I nap. I swear one of these days I am going to get back to being a good wife and taking care of him as much as he takes care of me! He is the best!

4th of July Weekend

We had a fantastic 4th of July weekend! Really, we had a fantastic week leading up to the 4th of July weekend! Kim, John's sweet sister from Lubbock, was in town with her three precious kiddos, Jonah, Sydney, and Ian. We were so excited to get to spend some time with them! Rik came over from Dallas to hang out, and Darci's sweet husband, Stephen, surprised her with a plane ticket from South Carolina to some see us! This is the first time that all 4 Williams kids have been together since John and I got married almost 3 years ago. We had so much fun! We at several great meals, went to church at Travis where they all grew up, saw lots of old friends, and took lots of pictures. I can't wait until we can all get together again!

We also went out on Lake Grandbury with Mama, Daddy, Dwayne, Glenda, Channing, Austin, and Deidre. Going to the lake is always fun and we are all looking forward to spending some quality lake time in the next two weeks when we take our annual trip to Arkansas!

Baby is doing well this week. It has been a relatively good week. I am not nearly as sick as I was a couple of weeks ago, so I hope we are headed in the right direction! Another doctor appointment next week, so maybe I will have a picture of the baby for you by then! :-)

Our growing family...

Yes, this time, it is what you think. No, we didn't get another dog. Three is enough for us for now. But, yes, our little family is growing.

We are having a baby!!!!!!!!

We are SO excited!!! We found out a few weeks ago, and coudn't be more thrilled!

We hadn't told anyone, but had been trying to get pregnant while we were in South Carolina, for about a year. Once we found out that we were going to be getting orders, we quit trying due to the upcoming move. Not to mention, I wouldn't have a job here yet. And, here we are now, with a baby on the way! It just goes to show, it's not on our time. God has an ultimate plan for our lives, and it will be in His time, not ours.

I will try to answer some of the questions that I have gotten recently... I am about 8 1/2 weeks along, so the due date as of right now is Feb. 4, 2010. Sounds like a long time away, doesn't it?

Yes, we want to find out the sex of the baby. I am WAY too much of a planner to not find out. Unfortunately, it won't be until mid September when we can do the ultrasound to find out.

I am feeling pretty well right now. It was a little rough for a few weeks, but I hope that I am on the downside of the sickness. I have been told that it usually only lasts through the first trimester, which should only be about another 3 weeks. I am holding on to that! :-)

We have a few names picked out, but haven't settled on anything for sure yet.

John is being such a wonderful husband and being so supportive through this whole thing! I am not sure that it has really hit either one of us yet, but he is being great! I feel like I am being so lazy beause I am so tired all the time, but he keeps assuring me that I need to rest and take care of myself. He is helping me so much and I can not even put into words how lucky I am to have such a great husband!

So, that's it! That's our great news! I will keep you updated as we make our way through this amazing process! We would appreciate your prayers for a healthy baby!

A little late...

I know that I am a little late in posting these pictures, but at least I am working on it. :-) We had Shelly's Bachelorette party two weekends ago, and had a great time! We started out at her house with a "Pamper the Bride" shower and Shelly's sister, Jen, did a great job with everything! We had a great turn out! We then headed downtown for dinner at Mi Cocina. Yummy!!! After that, most of the girls headed out to a fun night at Pete's Piano Bar. Details of the rest of the night will not be disclosed :-)

We love our Shelly and hope she had a great time!!!

Catching up...

Well, I have a little catching up to do. Which would explain why there are 3 new albums worth of pictures on here. Sorry, things have been a little nuts around our house the last two weeks.

Two weeks ago, we went to Christian's spring football game. He plays for Paschall and they play on the TCU field every year for their annual "Purple and White" game. We had such a blast! We are definitely looking forward to Friday night football games in Texas!

Then, on Saturday, we left for Austin. Mama, Daddy, Dwayne, Glenda, Craig, Deidre, John and I all went down to the hill country for some R&R on Saturday and Sunday. During the day, the boys played golf and the girls went to the outlet mall in Round Rock (which, by the way, is awesome!). We met up and spent the night at the Coupland Inn and Dancehall in Coupland, TX, where Daddy got us 4 out of the 5 rooms at the Bed and Breakfast. We had such a great time! The concert that night was Wade Bowen at the Dancehall. We had a blast scootin' around the dancefloor! Sunday, we drove out further into the hill country and spent some time in Gruene at the antique stores and the dancehall. Then we went to Lockhart to see 3 out of the 5 top BBQ places in Texas (according to Texas Monthly). Such a great time driving and seeing some of the prettiest land in the world with some of the best family in the world! :-)

We had a good week, and I was able to top it off on Friday night with dinner with 3 of my ACU girlfriends. We get together about once in a blue moon and have dinner to stay in touch. And, everytime I see them, I am reminded of why we are all still such good friends. These girls are such a blessing to me! This was the first time that I got to meet Carter, Emily's precious son, and only the second time that I got to meet Tyler, Lacie's sweet boy. They are both SO big! And SO lucky to have such wonderful mothers! The third angel wasn't there this time, but of course, Charlie is completely to have a wonderful mother in Amie, too! I will say it again, I am so blessed to be able to call these three amazing women my friends!

Such a Busy Weekend

This was such a great weekend in the "Steward" family! Channing and Austin got married on Saturday!!! For some of us, the weekend started with a Bachelorette party on Thursday night which was fantastic! Channing had a wonderful time, and her sweet friend Jessica did a great job planning all the festivities! We had a blast!

Friday was spent golfing for the boys, decorating and shopping for the girls, and ended with a great and super fun rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We all had a lot of laughs dancing at the rehearsal on stage while Blake was singing! Channing was as calm, cool, and collected as any bride I have ever seen. The dinner was great and it was a fantastic chance to visit with realatives and friends that we hadn't seen in a while.

Saturday started a little early, but we were all ready to go, especially Channing! The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the bride and groom were the happiest I have ever seen either of them! The ceremony was, of course, perfect! Austin even managed to surprise everyone and work it in to the ceremony that he asked my dad for his daughter's hand in marriage, since that had been the long running joke in the family since he didn't do it before he proposed! The reception was a full of celebration as well as reunions for lots of people! All in all it was just wonderful!

Sunday we got word from Channing and Austin that they were officially on the cruise ship and we will talk to them again in a week! We hope they have a blast! Sunday night, everyone gathered at our house for Tex-Mex Lasagna, beer margaritas, and some R&R! Such a fun time!

Monday, with lots of friends and family still in town, the boys went golfing again and we all met at Mama and Daddy's for a big ol lunch!

This weekend was just a fantastic time of friends, family, and lots of love in the air. For those of you who were there and able to join us, we are so glad you were a part of it! For those of you unable to be there, we missed you lots! You missed a great party! :-)

The M&M Weekend, and SO much more...

Well, this last weekend, while John had drill weekend at work, I trotted off to South Carolina to visit my extended family. The weekend flew by with not much down time, but that's how we roll :-) It was the weekend of the annual Brother/Brother Golf Tournament at Old South! We had a blast! Of course, we didn't play, but we participated in other ways. Lots of pictures, lots of hugs, lots of laughs. It was so good to be back! I was welcomed back at Old South with open arms, and it was so great to see everyone!

Of course, it is always good to see my Johnny and Jill. We had such a wonderful time, it's no wonder we were all in tears at the airport on Sunday. I have posted a lot of pictures. We are now eagerly planning and looking forward to Johnny and Jill's trip to the great state! Hopefully that will fall sometime in July! The sooner the better. As for me...I am already planning their MOVE here, not just their visit :-)

This week is a HUGE weekend in our family! Channing and Austin are getting married on Saturday! We already have relatives in town, so the festivities are already beginning. I am sure I will have a lot of pictures to post after this weekend. Stay tuned!

I have a big interview this Wednesday, so keep your fingers crossed. I hope to have some good news to post soon!

Weekend Update...

We are wrapping up what was a pretty busy week and weekend in the Williams' household. John was back to work this week, and is getting used to being back in the shop. I continued working my part time job, but got some promising news on the job search front. I don't want to post about it now, for fear of jinxing it, but hopefully by mid week, I will have something to post about.

We had a busy weekend with Dave's birthday at Cheryl and Patrick's house on Saturday night. What a lovely house and we had such a blast hanging out with Dave's family by the pool. Patrick grilled some brats and some hamburgers and we just relaxed and enjoyed the weather. Those are the kind of Saturday nights that we like! Happy Birthday Dave!

Today, all of the family came over to our new house for the first get together at our place since we moved back. I must say, I think it went well. We had Tex-Mex Lasagna, and celebrated our Mothers' and why we love them so much! It was nice to have everyone over.

Back in the Great State!

As most of you know, we are now back in the great state! We have found a house that we love and are so excited to be back and close to most of our family again! Although we miss our South Carolina family very much! It has taken a while, but we are starting to get into the swing of things. John will start back to work full time on Monday. He is all checked in and will be back to the shop starting this week. It has been nice having him at home and off work, but I think we are both ready for him to go back to work. As well, he is ready for me to go back to work! I am currently working part time for a company over in the Hulen area. But, hopefully, I will have an interview sometime this coming week for a potentially great job that I am very excited about!

Since we have been home this last month has been full of family time, great friends, and lots of wedding showers. I have actually been to 4 showers in the month that we have been here. But, it has been great to be able to be here for these kinds of things! That is one of the reasons we wanted to be back home.

We have a super busy weekend this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to add a lot more pictures once it is over.
