Joshua and Megan were married September 2007. They have two daughters, Hadassah Marie and Keilah Abigail.

Megan works part-time from home as the Technician Support Specialist for Trades of Hope. Josh is working on his thesis for his MA in counseling while working full-time.

They are in training with their core team to launch Lifeline -A Celebrate Recovery Campus to serve the churches of the Flagler area Fall of 2012. They are also co-leading Lifecoast's Nursery Team.

Launch Training Starts!!

We got our confirmation email today after our reevaluation virtual interview yesterday. We have been accepted into the Launch Training program now that our vision for a Celebrate Recovery Campus is clear. Conferences are lining up to prepare us for the next 6 months of intensive training. This has been a huge encouragement! A year ago when we went to launch we were approved but were waiting on God to clarify his vision so we could proceed. Took some heart work since Celebrate Recovery is no easy path but we are excited to see him placing things before us to reaffirm that this is indeed the path he has called us to. The last year of team building opportunity through other ministry has been a challenge and strengthened both of us to be more resilient. So bring it on! :D

Megan works from home!

I got a job working for Trades of Hope! I get to watch my girls and work from my home computer. It is a company that helps women out of poverty. I get to bring in some extra income but still be home doing what is most dear to my heart. I feel so blessed and grateful!

masters money

recently we have been praying for provision as having two girls and a house to pay for on one income hasn't left much left over to finish josh's schooling. well the other day a friend answered our prayers by funding josh to finish his studies! <3

another birth miracle...

Keilah Abigail was born on May 19th at 2:19pm. I had prayed for shorter birth, less pain and no tearing and to go sooner than my due date! I got a shorter labor by 7hrs! No tearing! Still excruciating pain but only officially 7 minutes of pushing! And she was born 8 days early! She was 1/4" smaller head but 8ounces heavier than dassa, and the same length. Her belly button fell off at only three days and she is perfectly healthy! We feel so blessed and content with our two beautiful girls :))

the tiny things

okay so yesterday i received the leap frog alphabet system for dassa along with the leap frog word whammer and the alphabet. i know it may seem trivial to you, but i have wanted to get this for dassa probably for almost a year now. she knows her letters from starfall but she has to be on my computer for that. i almost bought this leapfrog learning kit for her several times but couldnt quite bring myself to spend the money. leap frog is great but not cheap! and now a fellow mom homeschooler gave hers to me because her kids had outgrown it. i love how God cares about every little tiny want as well as providing daily for our big needs. Thank you God for showing how deep your love for me is - may this journal help to keep that message sunk deep in my silly little brain. <3

Another paycheck

I just was handed another paycheck for website design. Makes me feel good to bring in some income right before the baby comes :) Thank you God for the connections and opportunities you have fall into my lap! Thank you also for helping me get things done and wrapped up before Keilah is here! You are in the details! Love you!

Another answered prayer

I was just getting ready to pull out Keilah's clothes when I realized there wasn't really enough room for dassa's and hers together in one bureau. So, I told josh we needed another and started to keep my eyes open at yard sales and such. I had our neighbor lady come over yesterday and offer us her daughter's bedroom set which is in fantastic condition! She is moving to a smaller house and couldn't take it with us and offered it for dassa. It has three drawers under a twin bed and a matching dresser that looks brand new! Thank you God for yet one more way you provide for our needs! Now I can start pulling out the baby clothes and getting their rooms organized. :)

New Grill!!

Okay so my husband has been wanting a gas grill now for over a year. I remember looking at these nice ones with side burners and the works at least 3 times near father's day of last year but we just didn't want to charge it. So, i felt for my husband when our neighbor pulled out a brand new grill from his truck the other day and asked josh's help in getting into the backyard. I know my green monster would have been aroused. This same neighbor calls josh the next day and offers him his old grill and we were expecting ....just that an old gas grill but that is NOT what we got!! We got a very nice grill with a side burner that had seen only mild wear and still has a lot of life in it!! Josh was dancing a jig and we saw clearly that those who wait on the Lord are indeed blessed!!!!

So blessed!

Loving my fenced backyard and swing set which has helped restore two hours naps(much needed!)! Finished one website and brought home another paycheck and have the other one almost done! Ikea chair is in place, packnplay is waiting in the closet, and we even have backyard chairs(my parents!) so i can watch dassa in the yard in comfort! Got a new cd player from my future brother-in-law today for dassa since hers stopped working. I mean blessed - where every need and want seems to be met before i can name them. Thank you God!

We took over the church nursery with another couple and God has been providing new volunteers with great ideas and new enthusiasm. So grateful that God is bringing in people!!! Church nurseries always seem to struggle and I wouldn't want to head this up without His help! We have strong teachers for each week, friendly greeters who are helpful in making parents welcome and comfortable along with lots of helpers who keep the kids happy and participating. :)

A God of details

I have to praise God because I feel so overwhelmed by his love towards me. He cares for even the insignificant nesting prayers of a pregnant woman. I was praying for/searching for a double joggin stroller on craigslist. My brother just called me today wondering if i could use his double stroller since sammy won't ride in it anymore. I will give him the single one he lent me which will be easier to run with having just ben. I didn't even know he had a double! We've been given a regular double which will be great for around stores and such as well as a rear facing carseat from 5pounds and up. I feel we are so much more prepared and we still have 3 months. The swing set and now jogger. So now my list is dwindling down to a packnplay and an ikea chair that bounces. Lord thank you for providing for all our needs and even a lot of our wants! We love you! <3

Answer to prayer

I started praying about a month ago for a swing set, started watching craigslist and asking God for one. Well, I am happy to report that we were given one just last week for FREE, just in time to fix up for dassa's birthday!! She already has been enjoying the slide and once we replace a few bolts we can hook up some swings. AND the one we got my mom said she saw at sam's clib for over a grand new - so i feel so blessed. Not only does God answer prayers about the big things, but also the little things for our children. So now I have a safe, fenced backyard and a swing set so life this summer should be sweet and easier on me even with the addition of a new little one. So, I guess he really answered a moms prayer! Thank you God for being a God of Details!

Life Change

Arriving at the church for the Launch Evaluation we didn't know what to expect. The church was massive - West Ridege 5000+ people. We didn't know how to feel. You try not to pass judge meant on a building or a people but you do. We arrived highly skeptical of a calling, I (Josh) was waiting for the "no" wasn't sure I was in the right place but as the days went on with every passing hour I felt I was in the right place, doing what the Lord had been preparing for use before time. This wisdom was priceless men and women from spoke from all stages of the journey, it seemed each person said what meg and I had been thinking months prior. It got deeper and deeper as we were asked to speak openly about the desires of our hearts and really express doubt and fears. In a way renewal was over whelming, to feel engulfed my God in a sense can be the only way I can describe it. I feel like we were in a place for a moment that almost felt like Gods true covering, there was no fear or doubt only peace and assurance that we arrived at the perfect time. In the following moments the only thing that was a struggle was now unpacking all the truth we felt God laying on our hearts.

Day of the trip

We decided to go on this trip out of faith that if we took steps toward God he would reveal himself as we are obedient. Well things were tight. Literally 15 minutes before we left I got the mail and God gave us a check from our bank because we had over payed into our escrow account. He gave us money - $450 to cover a hotel and meals and then some leftover. Confirmation we were doing the right thing or what!?

I brought home paychecks!

I am feeling so overwhelmed by God's provision and am so glad i am writing this all down, because i know how he always has provided but seeing it written out will help me not take it so for granted. My memory is poor and i want to remember every detail about God's goodness in my life! So....

I brought home two paychecks in the last two weeks!! Haven't had a job since before dassa was born so I am feeling so stoked! I am helping my family in a monetary way?!! I get to be home with dassa so no daycare bills but i also get to do something that i love when she is napping to bring in money on the side. I am so grateful for these opportunities that God has placed in my lap - literally! Such a boost to my self-esteem and a joy to be useful! Thank you God! :)))

More Blessings and Provision

We are leaving for a trip to look into church planting and my parents called saying that they had some money in the ems account that was allocated for us, so now we can afford to go to georgia and not worry about hotel fees etc as we search out what God has for us! Whatever else will be gifted to agape midwifery towards the birth of our child since we won't be going on any out of country missions trips till after Keilah is a bit older. We have no clue how God pays all our bills but he always comes thru! He is the ultimate budget balancer!

Answered Prayer

I was praying for a friend's marriage the other day and got a text moments later telling me how God had already answered my prayer!

Getting a fence this weekend when I thought we wouldn't be able to afford one for quite some time! Thank you God for sweet neighbors!

Getting to go away with the hubby out of state next week to see where God might be leading us in serving him!

I, meg, brought Home a paycheck for the first time since dassa was born - getting to design a website which i love!

Going on a long awaited date (voyage of the dawn treader!) tonight with josh since my parents are gonna come watch dassa :)

God's Blessing start Early!

We were so impressed with how God blesses us that we wanted to start a journal that we can look back on to count our blessings. We want this journal to be a testament of God's provision and care over our family not only to remind us when things get rough but to also hopefully encourage others!

1/1/11 Took Dassa to the mediquick to find out the she doesn't have croupe as we feared but a slight ear infection. God blessed us by taking the visit which should have been $105 because we do not currently have health insurance down to $84 because it was Hadassah's first visit! Then to top it all off her prescription was going to be $71 but the nice pharmacy lady called and changed the dosage to drop it to $37 AND THEN i came back and she told me they had found a discount card which dropped it to $19.99!! Thank you God for knowing our budget and for providing as you always do!
