My Daddy walks with Jesus, patrolling the gates for God;
When Jesus gives the order, my Daddy gives the nod.
Evil will not pass here, darkness will not fall;
My Daddy stands his post protecting Heavens wall.
He is always at the ready, protecting what is right;
He answered the call of duty when he marched into the light.

In loving memory of SSG Josh Melton
The support and respect given to SSG Josh Melton and his family over the last week has been amazing. From the signs, to the Flags, to the salutes, and number of people along the processional route - it was all impressive and well deserved...what a tribute to Josh and what he did for our country.
Josh will be missed by many, but he will live on in our memories. He is a true hero and will never be forgotten!

Josh Melton was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on Friday, June 19, 2009. Josh leaves behind his wife Larissa, a beautiful 16 month old daugher Aubrey, and many family membes and friends. Josh died serving his country, doing what he loved, and what he was proud of. Josh, you are truly an American hero. You're still protecting us, but now from the heavans above. We love and miss you! May you rest in peace. Please keep his family, friends, fellow soldiers, and all who knew and loved him in your thoughts and prayers.

Comforting Angels
An Angel kissed my tears away
today when I was sad.
I wasn't feeling quite myself
my day had been so bad.
I felt a warmth brush by me
that quickly dried my tears.
A gentle, kind, and loving touch
that seemed to hold me near.
Immediately, I felt so much better
and the day seemed brighter too.
I guess that's just the way you feel
when an Angel comforts you.
