Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the instruction my daughter, Ryleigh, received from you and your staff. Last night, she made the chicken & roasted veggie recipes from the cookbook - it was absolutely delicious! As she prepared dinner, she recalled various verbal instructions you had given her. Most amusing and helpful was the reference to "loving the chicken." The pride on her face and our time in the kitchen last night was priceless! We are looking forward to her preparing meals every Thursday night and the delicious food to come. Thank you so much for an amazing program, you have touched our lives in a very special way!

Karla,
I just wanted to send you a note and thank you for the opportunity for
Max to attend Jr. Chef this summer. He has been very excited and very
proud of his newly acquired skills, and we are putting him at the helm
in preparing items from his Jr. Chef cookbook for 4th of July. The
grandparents are coming over and he has planned the menu, is directing
the order of preparation, and will be doing most of the prep and
cooking with support and any asked for assistance from me.
It has been fun to watch him grow in confidence from this experience.
He has never really been big on sports and other typical things kids
get into, but this really resonates with him. (So far the only
downside is he has rejected some of my bottled spices as inadequate
for his purposes and insists on only the freshest ingredients.) This
next week my father in law is visiting and he also loves to cook, so
the two of them are going to collaborate in the kitchen and no doubt
create some wonderful food and some wonderful memories.
Max spent several days finishing his cookbook. He really got into it.
Big kudos to Chef Jewel, she was really good with his sensitive and
sometimes shy personality and got him using the phrase "I'm just
chillin'" (which is way funny coming out of him!)
Here's the cookbook. Thought you'd get a kick out how he used a
rendition of your logo in the design.
