Labor Day fishing trip

So we decided to make a fast trip to Cedar for Labor day to get Jeff's little fishing boat. He has decided that it is finally time to do some work on it so every time we go out on it we can pull the string and it starts rather than him spraying god-knows-what on it and cussing a lot (at me and the boat usually!) before he can finally get it to start! Seriously, it is a sight to see!

So, we decided to take Hunter fishing for the first time. Well, the first time he has really thrown a line in the water and been "responsible" for it. We decided to take our chances on the shore and leave the boat at home. Everyone was telling us they were having bad luck and I was starting to get a little bummed out at the thought of my excited little boy not being able to catch a fish. But, as soon as Hunter and Jeff threw their lines in the water they couldnt keep the fish off of them! Amazing!! Whatever Jeff was doing it was seriously working! They were the only two on the beach catching fish! Yay! They caught 4 (two each) and lost about 3 before they could get them in! Hunter caught both the smallest and biggest fish and was so proud of himself!! It was a good day...one I will always remember.

Visit from the stork!

On May 21, 2008 at 3:09 a.m. our little girl was born! Allison Brenna made her debut very stressful, but in the end she was safe and healthy! Born at only 5lbs 6 oz, she was a tiny little thing, but has grown so big since then! She is 3mos old now and our families greatest blessing this year! The three of us LOVE having her around! Hunter is the best big brother, always kissing her and loving her, talking to her when she cries, feeding her her bottle and everything in-between!

Her little smile lights up the room and she is doing so much so fast! Enjoy the pictures of her as she grows!

Summer 2008

WOW! I cant believe summer is almost over! Time flys when your having fun, and we have had a GREAT summer! It started off with Brandie and Mariah visiting; that was so much fun. We went all over town, exploring and creating memories...we hope they can visit again next year!

Then we got to go to our family reunion in UT! We stayed with Tecia and Steve and really got to know them as a family...what fun! Hunter and Logan played and played and played...then they played some more! It reminded me of summertime when I was a kid, playing all day and night with my cousins! Poor Allison got a really bad heat rash that looked terriable, but thankfully didnt last. As soon as she cooled off she was back to "normal"! Thank goodness!

The Pool's got a new home at the start of summer and it has a swimming pool, so needless to say we swimm as much as possiable!!!

I have some great shots of this summer in my most recent photos section. Thanks to everyone for helping to make for a FANTASTIC summer!!!! It makes me want the holidays here much sooner!

Those fishing pictures are great, I love how much Jeff and Hunter look alike not only in face but stance, the picture of the back of them on the beach and you see hunter in a wide foot stance just like Jeff made me chuckle. It is precious to see Jeff being an awesome Dad! Great Memories I'm sure. Love ya guys!

I had such a blast this summer with you guys!! Thank you so much for opening your home and your lives to us. We really love and miss you guys! Your kids are getting so big so fast every new picture I see of Allison I am amazed at how big she has gotten in only a month or two! Can't wait for our next visit. Loves and Hugs to all the family (say Hi to the Pool's for us too!)
