Joseph's Storehouse Food Ministry in Lebanon, TN
distributes food at no charge to qualified Wilson County, TN residents. The primary food distribution is held the last weekend of each month (except in Nov & Dec when it is on the weekend before Thanksgiving & Christmas). Each family is evaluated on a case by case basis for situations including emergencies, job losses, health issues, lapses in government assistance and/or other unforeseen circumstances.

The next food giveaway...

The next food giveaway for qualified Wilson Co. residents will be held on Thursday, May 23rd and on Saturday, May 25th from 8:30 am to 12 noon on both days. The giveaway on Thursday is only for persons who can prove, with a qualified doctor's note, that they have a physical handicap or require additional assistance. NOTE: There is currently a waiting list for openings on those Thursdays and no other food recipients will be served until there are more spaces available.

Joseph's Storehouse Food Ministry's Founder, Brother Bob Evans, would like to mention that financial donations have dropped significantly during the last 90 days and have really put a pinch on day-to-day operations. He said, "Most people do not realize how much it costs to keep the refrigerators and freezers running; the expense of fueling the trucks; and the monthly rent for additional warehouse facilities to store all the food which is given to us. If our supporters could please send us a little something extra to help us at this time, we would really appreciate it!" Donations can be mailed to Joseph's Storehouse Food Ministry 1960 S.E. Tater Peeler Rd. in Lebanon, TN 37090 or you may click this link for PayPal.com and send donations to loaejs@gmail.com.

Volunteers are needed and encouraged to help and they should arrive between 8:00 and 8:15 AM. If groups of more than 6 are planning to attend, they must call the office at 615-453-5777 or register online at www.JoeStorehouse.com in order to participate so that everyone will have an assignment.

Our creed...

"For I was hungry and you fed Me. I was thirsty and you gave Me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited Me into your home. I was naked and you gave Me clothing. I was sick and you cared for Me. I was in prison and you visited Me. Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see You hungry and feed You? Or thirsty and give You something to drink? Or a stranger and show You hospitality? Or naked and give
You
clothing? When did we ever see
You
sick or in prison and visit You?'
And the King will say, 'I tell the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these My brothers and sisters, you were doing it to Me!'" ~ Matthew 25:35-40

You will be blessed for helping the poor...

"Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. The Lord protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health." ~ Psalm 41: 1-3
