I used to do photography a lot, but got left behind by the digital revolution. As it became harder and harder to buy film and processing, photography fell by the wayside until the cost of digital cameras came down.
I didn't want to 'waste' money on a point-and-shoot, although I have nothing against them, but I really wanted to wait until I could afford a dSLR.
Well, last week I got a good deal on a Pentax K-x with telephoto at B&H Photo, so I bit the bullet (the 6 months same as cash deal didn't hurt either!)
And I LOVE the camera. It takes great pictures, and I'm afraid it's smarter than I am. I can't wait for a good low tide and good weather to get some tide pool pictures (next weekend, I hope).
Another distraction, I'm afraid, but a good reason to go outside, which as I need, as I tend to stay cooped up too much these days.
Thanks for looking, and be sure to leave a comment, if you please.
