I wanted to pop in and say hello, am I reading right you saw Sir Elton!  I am so envious - he is a legend.  Sorry to hear about the computer.  That happened to us and we bought something called rocketfish - my husband put the old hard drive ? maybe in it and we were able to recover everything.  I don't think it even cost over $50.  You might do some checking.

Your site is so blue and wonderfully bright against the black background. I LOVE your French Polynesia photos!!! I haven't been able to view the share sites too well lately. I'm worried my computer is just too old to fully take in all this glory.

I've been neglecting my Shutterfly terribly! I am taking the Digi in Deep course from Jessica Sprague & the Photography Course by Candice that is also offered on the Jessica Sprague web site. I'm learning lots but my brain is in overdrive and may not survive! Our weather is getting warmer and X-Country ski days are numbered...The Eagles Concert was totally awesome...they are only getting better with age!! We leave on our cruise/disney vacation in 2 weeks & I am totally excited to spend some quality time with our family and friends. I have been working on my French Polynesia book &  I am going to post it on my share site - Anyone that looks at it please, please let me know what you think & if you see anything that doesnt look right or doesnt flow properly...I have about 15 pages to left today...Any comments would be greatly appreciated! 

Another busy month with work and it has been to cold to ski this week! Darn it anyway - exersize indoors isn't the same is it? While I was doing my floor exersizes with weights our cat Scruffles laid beside me on his back and started lifting his paws in the air. It was hilarious! I guess he's getting flabby abs and thought he should do his own workout. He kept doing it for about 5 mins - my girlfriend and I laughed till we cried!  Our daughter Ashley was up last week for work meetings so she spent the weekend before going home. We skiied on Sat and Sun so that was great. Ron's birthday was on the 12th and we went to friends for dinner - I just made the cake - you know the old standby - Angel food tunnel cake - simple but yummy! It was great fun but Ron was pretty tired since he had been up since 2:30 am. (he works early and long in the winter) I am supposed to go to Whitehorse, Yukon with Ashley to visit next week but I don't know if I will go if the phones are still so busy. It's been to long since I have since our little granddaughter - they grow way to fast!

Another month has come & gone - did it ever go fast...the Christmas Season was fun & we had part of our family with us - played lots of games...A Wii was under the tree so we all got our exercize! We have had -35 to -40 for a good month now so the temp today @ -20 feels like a heat wave. We are planning a spring Mexico cruise & Disneyland stop for 18 of our family & friends. Can't wait! After everyone leaves Disneyland Ron & I & another couple will be going to Napa/Sonoma for 3 days to do a few winery tours. I have started "Project 365" - (a picture a day challenge) - so far so good - it is sure helping me keep track of everyday "stuff" we do and I love that I am taking more pictures. I will be using Katie Pertiet's new Project 365 template to digi scrap them. Hopefully at the end of next year I can make it into a Shutterfly Book.

My daughter & I had an awesome time in New York. So many wonderful sights, shows and food! We did so much in 4 days & can't wait to go back. A funny thing happened on the way to the Cirque Show on Ice that was at Madison Square Garden...we came across all these AC/DC fans and realized they were playing...can you believe we went to the ticket booth & got - AT THE FRONT floor seats! (they werent sure how far the stage was going to come out so the tickets had just been released) WOW an awesome show, unreal...although I am embarassed to say we dumped the Cirque show without a moments thought. We also seen Wicked & Grease which we loved.

Well I'm trying to get myself organized again after a busy month...we have done quite a bit of travelling - we went to Whitehorse to see our grandaughter (& son/daughter-in-law) for a week and then down to Chetwynd to see our daughter/son-in-law and help them put their new kitchen cupboards in. Next week we are flying to Vancouver to go to our daughters CGA graduation dinner & then my daughter & I will fly to New York for 4 days...I cant wait for that! It will be our first time in New York for both of us so I'm excited...all the theater and history...We are going to see the new Cirque show on ice, Wicked, and a couple of others. For those who asked - Elton John in Concert WAS AWESOME!!

Wow was it August when my Computer blew up? I'm almost back to normal - hard drive reformatted, a laptop for backup & a years worth of accounting entered and sent off to our accountant Yay! I just finished the 1st video tutorial course on digital scrapbooking from Jessica Sprague and I am on her 2nd one (Type & Writer) What fun - I can really recommend her courses they are awesome. Actually a fellow Guru Barb was the one who recommended them so that’s how I got started. I am getting back into Shutterfly and I am working on a few christmas presents...one can never start to early right? I'm also excited because I am going to see Elton John in Concert in Calgary. I leave tomorrow - early - earyWell the concert is Friday night but I have to drive 6.5 hrs to Grande Prairie and then fly to Calgary from there. I am meeting a girlfriend there and then flying back to GP on Saturaday. I'm going to take a little side trip on the way home and see our daughter & son-in-law. - only a few hours out of the way.

Who said computers were fun? I've been off line for a week...maybe more - my hard drive had to be re-formatted - luckily most of my files are entact although my Organizer in PSE lost all my picture tags so I have to retag all my pictures and digital scrapbooking stuff - well over 25,000 items - ouch! My accounting files for my husbands business was also affected...It seems that it is 1995 in there. I've decided to order a laptop for backup - could'nt handle that happening again - plus I was in serious withdrawl not being able to go online to Shutterfly LOL.

Our grandaughter is going to be 2 tomorrow...they live in the Yukon so about 12 hours north of us. We hope to get up there in the next few weeks to see them again before winter - 2 weeks in the summer wasn't long enough!

I'm having a lot of fun trying out Digital Scrapbooking. Trying to figure out PSE has been interesting to say the least. I now have CS3 and I'm kinda scared to start intergrading the two. I definitely need 3 or 4 more hours in a day! We returned from a trip to French Polynesia in May and my goal is to finish a book on our trip...BEFORE Sept 1...otherwise it may not happen till after Christmas. So far I've done about 28 pages...I'll keep plugging along...
