When you think of summer activities, I know that reading is not the first thing to come to mind. Rainy days and long car rides, however, provide the perfect opportunity to read a good book. Winchester has a super kid's library with lots of activities all summer. Some wonderful books to try are "Chronicles of Narnia," "Bridge to Terabitha," and "Because of Winn-Dixie." I love to read anytime and every summer I try to read at least 15 good books. When I find an author that I really like, I try to read every book he has ever written. Then I hunt for a new author. I have some long trips planned, so I think I will meet my goal with ease. Take care and read something!!
