A Message from the President

A Message from the President

Dear friends and members of the Kiwanis Club of Abilene,

What is the mission of Kiwanis?  "Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time."  It is a GIGANTIC task that we have before us.  We cannot conquer this GIANT by talking about it -- we must WALK THE TALK.

The photos on these pages represent our efforts to fulfill our mission.  They demonstrate our involvement in the community and our commitment to serving the needs of the children.  As we serve together this year, we are confident we will make great strides in fulfilling our mission.

Join with us as we Walk the Talk.

Charles Kirkpatrick, President
The Kiwanis Club of Abilene

Dear Kiwanians: please know that Tammy Kister and I were honored to be speakers at your September 1 lunch meeting. Yours is a long history of service to children, and for that one hour, we were proud to be your partner in service. Best wishes from your new friends and admirers!
