Welcome to my site!  "Knit and Sew for a Hope" is a project that started in October 2008. All of the proceeds from this project for the first few years went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation which supports breast cancer research, education and early detection.  At that time over $1200 was raised for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  In 2010 we decided to refocus our energies to supporting local organizations in the our community.  In 2011 we focused on The Manhattan Fairy Godmother's Club.  This organization provides "flexible monies to improve the health and well being of Manhattan women with limited resources and have immediate, critical needs."  Last year over $400 was raised for the organization.  In 2012 we are focusing on supporting the local Hospice Care. 

The materials and time for the items sold are all donated. 100% of the proceeds will go to the designated charity.
