The Last Day
The 2010 NYG is over. Anyone for a nap? Some of the kids have been out swimming at the hotel pool, some are still down for the count and crashed in their rooms. This is the first really quiet afternoon since we got to New Orleans on Sunday. We're on our own now and looking forward to the zoo tomorrow. Mike G.
Day 3 of Nyg
So today Paige, Alexus, Alex L, and me hang out. And talked to Tanner and Tyler. We went to a session(: And then we went to the bands gift shop brought a remedy drive shirt and CD. Then we went to the Remedy Drive concert (they are amazing band) Alexus and I were by the stage and the base player winked at us(; And after that the lead singer and the base player signed our stuff(; Bye write later!!!

Day 2 of NYG
So today was the first whole day of NYG. After about 6 hours of sleep in the last two days, we spent 14 hours doing things. Me, Mason and Michael explored the food court at the mall for lunch and surprisingly there was no Cajun food there. We went to a session called " I wish I could take that back " talking about taking things that you did wrong back. There is so much stuff I have to say that it won't fit in here. It was a fun and tiring day but I DEFINITELY look forward to more.

Today We woke up and went to the Bible study at 10:30 and then we went to the mall and ate lunch. After Lunch we went to a seminar on how to let go of your sin. It was an Interesting session. After that we chilled in the Commons. We went to go eat dinner at Popeyes micheal was freaking other people out. Then went to the Mass At the Super dome.

Day 1 of NYG
the first day was a long one, it was a fun little bus ride locked inside my head, i am hoping this trip will heal this crack i have found in the foundation of my life. alot has happened this year and i do think that this trip may determine alot in my future. i am having a good time so far, the final part of the day was killer. bumped into a old myr friend, i didn't expect to see him and i was overwhelmed with joy, i kinda tackle hugged him. over all it was the best day of the year so far. for anyone who is reading. i hope you enjoy a look into my life, my mind. god bless, and keep reading and stay with me in heart as i journey along this path in my spirituality. - Alex K.
So Day 1... We had dinner at some pizza/pasta place, the food was great!!! Then we had a long walk to the Super Dome for a mass event(: the walk was long and had to wait outside until they opened up the doors! when in we watched dancers/singers/speeches/skit/fireworks/videos/ and sand art(amazing). My favorite part of the mass event was we listen to some song and they had fog coming from the floor and at the end they turned off the lights and instead of fog they use fire (hint-you could feel the heat from where we were seating)!!! Getting Here
My experience so far is... The bus ride was not so cool trying to sleep on a bus is so hard. But getting in New Orleans(; was so much fun looking at the sites. When we got to the hotel room we unpacked, then we went to the pool(: Doing a meeting thing with our church and about to go to dinner. write more later!!!! bye(:

what has happened so far was pretty much along the lines of a typical church retreat, but on a much larger scale the bus ride was long boring and hard trying to sleep. when we got to new Orleans i was relieved and happy when we got to the hotel, we unpacked and went to the pool:) .. now were doing orientation then go out to eat!!:) .. bye .

This is Michael talking (or rather typing) about the horribly long bus ride. The one really bad part was at about 4:30 in the morning during the bus ride, i had the window seat and had to go to the bathroom, but Alex Ledum was sitting next to me and was asleep, so poor alex, i had to wake her up to go. The Funnessest part was the short series I watched with Alex on her Ipod (go apple) called Dr. Horrible's sing along blog.
P.S. Alexus sat behind me and her feet were in my face all night.
