The 9:45 worship service at Kennesaw United Methodist Church at 1801 Ben King Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144, - (770.428.1543) - offers a fresh and exciting way to worship God and celebrate your faith. With music led by the KUMC Praise Band - Crossroads, worshipers are encouraged to lift their voices and hearts in praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You will find a casual, relaxed worship experience and lots of friendly folks who enjoy contemporary praise music. Whether you are new in your faith or have a mature relationship with God, you will find this service to be an inspirational way to start your week.

Why did we choose the name 'Crossroads'? Well, each member of the band has been thru their own life journey. Those experiences led each of us to God at KUMC where thru a series of instances and opportunities we were able to praise together. Only God could have done this. So, we have all come from different places emotionally and physically to be at this crossroad with God. Our experiences, good and bad, have led us to choose the fork in the road that leads to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Our music seeks to praise Him and to help lead you in your personal journey. We have been so amazingly blessed with talent that has been reserved for praising God, it just took some of us a while to see that truth. It is our commitment not to just play the notes, but to deeply and passionately feel the message and translate that thru a praiseful performance for God. Only then, can you draw closer to God thru the music.

We worship each Sunday at Kennesaw United Methodist Church on Ben King Road. We tend to choose Top-40 Christian selections like Casting Crowns, Philips-Craig & Dean, Chris Rice, Bebo Norman, Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche and others, but we also play quite a few traditional selections. The lyrics are displayed in full motion video for a more complete and intense visual experience as we worship together to praise Jesus. As a group, we have been together for about 4 years and have a selection of about 100 songs. Each musician has a rich background in professional music.
