The 2011 LAKE COUNTRY FREEDOM FESTIVAL and 5K was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Thank you all, and especially to our sponsors and volunteers. We raised $27,000 for Camp Kudzu and JDRF!!! If you did not get a chance to donate and would like to, it's not too late. Checks made out to LCFF can be mailed to P.O. Box 81736, Conyers, GA 30013 or online (click DONATE on left side of page.) Because of your generosity more children living with type 1 diabetes, that otherwise could not afford camp, will be able to attend. They will be able to enjoy camp without feeling different and will learn new ways to handle their diabetes, helping to make their lives healthier. The Artificial Pancreas Project is just one example of the amazing technology funded by JDRF to give more FREEDOM to those living with diabetes. Again we THANK YOU!

Ryan has been a diabetes survivor since January 2007. Make sure to turn up your speakers and watch to the very end.
Type 1 diabetes is an attack against your own body that has nothing to do with what you did or what you did not do. It NEVER goes away and there is no cure. You can never out grow it or ever forget that you have it.
Our mission is to help children living with type 1 diabetes experience more FREEDOM in their lives!
Sorry to say but there will not be a 2013 Freedom Festival.
Thank you all for your past support!
