Wow!!! Hard hitting hard hitting hard hitting. Is all I can say. What a change...our offense...290 yards rushing led by #2 RB Michael Swanigan with 119 yards and 3 TDs, 168 yards in passing led by #12 QB Charles Hodges going 10 for 19 in passing for 143 yards, 2 rushes for 4 yards with a QB rating of 157.43 compared to a dismal 42.54 last game. Great job offense. On the defensive side of the ball we were led by Stephon Betts with a total of 5 tackles. Great Job D!!!! Now it is time to prepare for the West Michigan Tigers who are also (1-1) and determined to make a splash in this league and in West Michigan. So be prepared come to practice this Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 6PM at Grand Haven High School. Now "Let's Get 'em" as Coach Duncan would say.

Well it was a tough first game for us. We shot ourselves in the foot to many times on the offensive side of the ball. To many missed opportunities but hey oh well. Defense did very well considering they were on the field 80% of the game. We will make the proper adjustments for next game vs the Michigan Stampede. Good luck to the Punishers thanks for being good hosts.

Well we had controlled scrimmage against the West Michigan Tigers on Saturday, May 15, 2010. This scrimmage took place at their home field in Bloomingdale, MI. We started at 12:30PM and went until 2:30PM. All in all things looked real good on both sides of the ball. Our defense looked very good, got to get some of the glitches out but all in all the D looked great!! Our offense looked very good as well, not bad for learning a new offense in a short amount of time, we'll fix those glitches that we have on offense. All in all we are a much improved team!!! We are functioning as one unit, one team and one family, that my friends speaks volumes about our team and our organization!! Thanks to all who came.

The Lakeshore Cougars Semi Professional Footbnall Team will be entering their 3rd season in 2010. We are proud to announce that we have joined The Great Midwest Football League Family which currently has 33 teams from Michigan to Arkansas. We look forward to a great 2010 football season. Yeah it sticks he can't play this year. We sure do miss him. But we are praying for a speedy recovery. You all should still come out and support us he should come too we would love to see him.
