We gather together quarterly for a time of reflection.  In the fall and spring, it is for one day of reflection.  In the summer and winter we have an weekend long retreat. 

 

This year's Fall Day of Reflection will the this Saturday, Halloween!  It has become tradition to start our FDOR by running/walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  The afternoon will be spent in prayer, reflection and professional development sessions. 

 

And, to cap off the day, the Eastmoreland Community House is carrying on the tradition of a LANCE costume party that night!!

 

Can't wait to spend the day together, can't wait to participate in the Race for the Cure and I really can't wait to share all the pictures!

Our October community activity was to visit the Mid-South Corn Maze.  With hints, tricks and a few treats, it took about an hour to get through to the end.  Quite a bit of fun had by all!

We're headed to the Cooper Young Festival this Saturday afternoon for our monthly community activity.  Its a great time to enjoy live music, browse local arts and crafts and take in the Memphis scene.  Let's hope for beautiful weather!
