We offer a two day program for children 2.9 - 4 years old which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The older children, ages 4-6, meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Children need not be potty trained to attend.

Lanesville Preschool encourages acceptance and tolerance and draws on the different experiences available to children of many ages. In the school's nurturing environment, each activity is designed within the context of play to reach all levels of learning, from the initial exposure of a particular skill through to its mastery.

Our dedicated teachers have been with the school for over twenty years. All are fully licensed by the state. Lanesville Preschool maintains a low teacher to student ratio, not to exceed 1:7.

Lanesville Preschool Center accepts children and employs staff regardless of race, sex, religion, national and ethnic origin, marital status, political belief, sexual orientation, or disability. Prior to registration, we request that both the parent and child visit the program during school hours. Acceptances will be based on the staff's belief the child will thrive happily within the school environment.

Prior to the first day of school, specific information about the School's program will be distributed to each family. Forms required for each child, such as medical exam, developmental history, parental consent for medical treatment, and emergency numbers, should be filled out and returned by the first day of school. If the medical exam form cannot be completed before school opens, the State Office for Children requires it to be completed within thirty days.

I just have to tell you how much I love looking at these pictures! It's so nice to be able to see Margot and get a glimpse of what she's doing at school. I'm sitting here laughing at some of these photos of her, trying to piece together things she's said, like "I didn't like the leaf costume.". Now I know what the leaf costume is!
