Photography is my passion. It is a great pleasure for me to enrich the lives of others by stirring old memories and creating new ones through the camera lens.
My goal is to capture life as it happens. I tend to focus on natural and candid photographs rather than posed, composing them in a way that depicts the truth and emotion of each moment. Shooting candid photos requires that I am always aware of the people, relationships and unique moments happening around me. I have a natural ability to connect with people, children and animals, circulating easily through any social setting. My positive attitude and relaxed style allows my subjects to feel comfortable and at ease, creating an environment rich with simple yet extraordinary moments waiting to be encapsulated.
Although not formally trained, I have learned through experience, books, internet and feedback from others. I welcome positive feedback and constructive criticism on my photos, as it is important to me that people enjoy my photography.
I feel a great sense of pride when someone compliments one of my snapshots. The knowledge that, with the touch of a button, I can capture a moment through my lens that will last a lifetime, brings to me tremendous joy. It is my hope that these memories are cherished every time the photograph is viewed.
