Trip to Wenatchee

Wenatchee Valley
miles of fruit orchards, it's so beautiful

Ohme Gardens
one of the alpine meadows at Ohme Gardens

Ohme Gardens 2
Visitors stroll through the different areas of the garden. Each area is relatively private and very peaceful.

Ohme Gardens 3
There are stone pathways and paving all through the gardens, about a mile of pathways altogether

On top of the world
It is so peaceful in the gardens!

Ohme Gardens 4
One of the waterfalls. Each area has stone benches to just sit and contemplate.

Mouse in my car

Mouse nest in the glove box
I googled and found out that mice get into Hondas a LOT

x_x
I couldn't decide whether to use a trap or poison so I put both. It wasn't enough the mouse got caught on the trap, she dragged herself over to the poison and ate it, too

Most likely how they get in
they can run up the drainage tunnel and hop into the ventilation duct and right into the car!

Leads to ventilation system and into cabin
Mice can go directly into the car from here because the flap doesn't close all the way

Problem solved
Dave covered the opening with screen so mice can't get in anymore, yay!

Carport/shed project

Our little shed/carport
It is a pretty sad little shed... But, we really need the storage space and the attached carport, so it will be very useful once we repair it- it just needs a "little" work...

Now to level the poor thing

It's getting there...
we had almost 6" difference from one side to the other

The eaves have to come off
so we can raise the carport side a little

uh-oh!
Suddenly- grandpa is ambushed by Claire and Liam!!

Heeeeeeeelp!

Raising the roof
to give the carport side some pitch

Montana Trip

Me and my dear friend, Gail

First motorhome ever made?
This has been out to pasture in the wide open spaces for a long time, I'm sure. I always get a kick out of it when we drive by.
