Parents,
Attached are the results from this weekend as well as the Itinerary for next Saturdays meet, the Marcus II Invitational. I have scheduled us pretty hard, therefore this next week will be another tough meet and it should prepare us to come out towards the top at the Texas Wesleyan meet that is upcoming. Keep encouraging your kids to do well...the competition we have been facing is some of the best in the state :). I am proud of our kids and excited to see how they will keep growing.
Please help me keep them up to date in the classroom. They have two more weeks to make sure they have all passing grades!
Remember the cup fundraiser is due not THIS Friday, but next Friday!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. If you have any meet pictures, please send them on a disc to school or e-mail them to me. I would love to use them on the newsletters :)
Schedule for week:
Mon-Thursday; Class period meets at 6:30 am (only people who have first period XC/Track); EVERYONE-2:30 after school practice
Friday; ALL practice at 6:00 AM, OFF After school
Also, there is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 PM in the Main Gym if your child would like to attend!

Hello Cross Country Parents,
I hope this e-mail finds you doing well this Monday morning. I have a LOT of information to get out to you today :) Bear with me on the long read. First, I have attached several documents (Newsletter, Results thus far, Run for Funds Entry Sheets for next week, Itinerary for Southlake Carroll Invitational).
1. Our day to work concessions is THIS Friday at Newsome Stadium. I am still waiting for full information on arrival time, what to wear, etc. and will get that out to you as soon as I get it. Thank you for being willing. We are still in need of three workers. If you or your student-athlete is available, please respond to this and let me know.
2. Picture day is tomorrow (TUESDAY) with Top of Texas. We will be taking team and individual pictures (if they so desire to have them). Each athlete needs to bring their uniform with them to practice. We will take pictures, change, and then practice.
3. At meets, please feel free to take LOTS of pictures :) Last year, we had many pictures with allowed us to have a very good end of season video! If you take any pictures and want to share them, you can e-mail them, send them on a DISC, or a flash drive. I use these on the end of the season video, the website, the newsletters, and sometimes the newspaper.
4. NEXT WEEK is our Run for Funds Fundraiser. The Fun Run will begin at 6PM at Town Park. Entry form for the Fun Run is attached (See above). Each athlete needs to aim to get two people to participate in the Fun Run and 5-10 donations/pledges. The athletes will be running before the Fun Run at 5PM for an hour. The pledges can be a flat donation or a per mile donation (if they run 5 miles in an hour and someone pledges 1$/mile, they would give 5$). Flat donations are always easier because they can be collected ahead of time. All checks can be made to Legacy CC Booster Club. This is our big fund raiser for the year and all of the money raised goes back to the CC Program, and ultimately the athletes. If there are any questions, please let me know! Also, if you would like to help us run off the Fun Run, let me know (But we hope you will all be participating :))
5. Last, but not least, enjoy your weekend off. This week we will be doing an Intrasquad meet right after school. No practice Saturday or Sunday, Monday at 6PM we will work out at the Park if the athletes are interested.
