Having never visited a chiropractor, I arrived at Dr. Mike’s office with everyday headaches and low back pain. I had a diagnosis from a neurologist and my general practitioner of low back problems from a fall several years before. The neurologist told me to come back when the pain gets too bad and we’ll do surgery. He suggested a pain management clinic along with the use of pain medication.
My appointment and meeting with Dr. Mike was one of my best decisions. He discovered neck injuries due to two rear end collisions in addition to a spinal injury. Treatment with neck traction and adjustments of my low back on a regular schedule has worked wonders for me. No more thoughts of “maybe” taking medication every day and no more daily headaches. I feel so good , keep an active schedule and exercise three times a week at Curves. I am also starting a new business with my daughter. Dr. Mike keeps me going.

As I walked through the door of Dr. Mike’s office 6 years ago I began my journey to a healthier life. During my
infancy I had a cast for about a year then I graduated to a brace attached to my shoes. All went well, so we thought.
While being an active teenager I remember hearing my hip click as I walked. There wasn’t any pain so I never mentioned it. Time went on and I never gave it much thought until my hip joint starting catching and I wasn’t able to complete my daily routine without pain.
I made an appointment with my family doctor and during that visit he told me I had arthritis in this joint and started me on medication. I knew I did not want to be on medication this early in my life so I sought other means of treatment. That is when I came to Dr. Mike’s office.
His skills have greatly improved my quality of life and I am medication free. I now enjoy swimming, dancing, hiking and taking care of my first grandchild. Dr. Mike and his staff are like family. They truly care about their patients well being.
