Want to use your own fabric?

You may certainly provide your own fabric for a custom bed or slipcover. The prices are the same: $79 for a wood-base bed, $93 for an acrylic-base bed, and $26 for a slipcover.

Upholstery and drapery fabrics work best, or any fabric that's medium-weight to heavyweight.

For either a bed or slipcover, the yardage needed is the same:
2/3 yard of 54-inch wide or wider fabric
7/8 yard of fabric 48 to 54 inches wide

That yardage is for preshrunk fabric -- prewashing ensures that the fabric is cleanable with water. You might want to do the prewashing yourself to check for shrinking or fading.
