Welcome to PEREIRA TOURS where you will find all you need to make your stay in St. Kitts truly incredible and with prices much lower than on your cruise ship! We are a full service tour company located in Port Zante, St. Kitts.
Originally from Canada, I am passionate about St. Kitts and my goal is to provide you with excellent service and ensure that your trip to St. Kitts is memorable. As a former senior travel agent with Marlin Travel, I specialized in group bookings to St. Kitts.
We are committed to providing a quality experience using excellent, certified guides and safety standards.
The guides I hire have either an air conditioned van or a comfortable open jeep, are well groomed, capable, eager to keep you happy, easy to understand, and are well informed.
Our guides have over ten years experience. We don't rush you through your tour, but let your experience the beauty of our island.

You are not crammed into buses with dozens of other tourists, listening to loud music and drinking. Our vans hold up to fifteen passengers, but most tours have between four and ten passengers. We pride ourself on small group settings and everyone is treated like family.
If you have a large group, our coaster buses are also available.
Our prices are very reasonable and much lower than what you will pay onboard your ship. We don't charge a booking fee!
Whether you are off a cruise ship, staying in a hotel, condo, villa, or docked in the marina, we can help you plan an island excursion to suit your needs. We enjoy providing you with personalized adventures. Tell us what you would like to do and we will make it happen.
We have a variety of activities geared for the young at heart, love birds, families and anyone wishing to enjoy historical St. Kitts.
Payments should be made in cash at the beginning of your tour. Please take note of the starting time stated in your e-mail confirmation and try to be punctual.
If you are off a cruise ship, you can find me standing by the Smoke N Booze store. I'll be holding a Pereira Tours sign.
One Stop Shopping:
Have everything arranged prior to your arrival on the island.
If you are staying at a hotel, villa or condo we can book all your excursions and airport transfers prior to your arrival on St. Kitts. We can also make restaurant reservations for you, arrange for a private chef to cook dinner at your villa or condo, and arrange a transfer to the store for groceries. You can also rent a cell phone to use while you are on island.

We recommend you pre-book prior to arriving on the island. Get a group of friends or other cruise passengers together and I can arrange a private tour. This way you can depart on the tour as soon as you dock.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Non-refundable if you no show or cancel the day of your excursion unless your ship does not dock or your tour is cancelled.
We would appreciate you being on time for your excursion so we don't keep other clients waiting.
HONEYMOON REGISTRY:
Pereira Tours is proud to announce our Honeymoon Registry. You can sign up and have your friends and family put money towards your excursions. All they have to do is e-mail me their credit card information and amount or mail a cheque to ELIZABETH PEREIRA at Box 2194, Basseterre, St. Kitts West Indies. The cheque should indicate the name of the bride and groom.
A minimum of 3 weeks is required for the cheque to clear.

"Excellent Tour!"
Our family was fortunate to book a tour of St. Kitts through Pereira Tours. Liz, the owner, has been working in the field on hospitality and tourism for a long time, and it shows. Email correspondence was quick, pleasant and most informative. We spent the day with Everton, a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Although the weather was less than conducive to the Caribbean, rain, fog and overcast all day (we were really unable to see all the vistas and beautiful viewpoints), Everton did everything he could to compensate for the weather conditions - even gave us another big unbrella to use. The full island tour was also very reasonable in cost. Pereira Tours is a first rate company to work with. Do not hesitate to book with Liz - and just sit back and enjoy!
"Island's Best!"
I recently was in St. Kitts on a cruise. One of my favorite places to go is the Reggae Beach Bar on Cockleshell Beach. Rather than rely on just 'any ole taxi guy', we booked with Liz. For a very reasonable fee, she made sure we got to and from the beach in the time frame we requested. It couldn't have been easier. Her smiling self was waiting for us as soon as we walked off the quay. The ship offered the same trip for just a little more, but, they left later and stayed a shorter period of time. We went to the beach as soon as the ship docked (8:30, I think) and returned around 1 when it started getting crowded. I really like this place - the beach is nice, the water has no undercurrent and is clean and clear, there are chairs and umbrellas for rent, there is a restaurant, bathrooms, a shop, and ladies who give a mean massage, too.

The best way to explore this wonderful island is with one of the family run and professional tour guides like my family did..
Personally I would recommend Pereira Tours. They have a unique and original tour for every kind of tourist. Such tours include a historical island tour, Botanical gardens tour and the wonderful experience of sailing around the island on a catamaran to mention just a few. These may sound like expensive experiences however Pereira tours rates are very competitive. If you’re a tourist looking for an independent group or private tour,(as we were, with the age group being 46, 73, 78) then you are guaranteed an exciting and fun filled day with one of their friendly drivers. The drivers do not simply drive you around they are also engaging and are very passionate about their beautiful island. Furthermore your driver will know more than enough local history to keep you interested throughout your tour, or just the right places to go for those looking for exhilaration and thrills. The vehicle we travelled in was modern, clean and very comfortable. Provisions was also made for my parents who have limited walking ability and our driver, Tim, was so courteous and helpful that we were most definitely made to feel comfortable and at ease. The service was outstanding, Tim has a pleasant nature and not short of a smile for you all day long. I cannot praise my driver Tim enough; our first contact was via email to their website Pereira tours. Within hours I received my first reply and many more followed keeping us in regular contact. You can also keep in touch with Liz the owner via face book, Liz Pereira which was quite handy for me. Payment for the tour was made in US dollars before we entered into the vehicle and a receipt was provided.
The sun was shining in the Port of St KItts when we arrived during November 2010. The tour company owner Liz gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival to the island as soon as our ship had docked she introduced us to the driver Tim, we then started our tour of the Island. Saying the views are spectacular is an understatement. One of the best views can be seen from Brimstone hill fortress, where the views were breath taking, it was a pure picturesque scene and you could see for miles.
After several hours of touring this beautiful Island it was time for us to make our way back to the port, where we had around 2hours left before embarking back on the cruise ship, In these last moments we went shopping (of course) in the many port stores next to the dock. With the items being duty free it made the purchases of perfume, cigarettes and jewellery very favourable. This concluded our wonderful tour of St Kitts; fortunately the pictures and the memories will always be with us after St Kitts which was the third stop on our 24 day cruise of the Caribbean, which was around the Eastern Caribbean's Islands.

"Responsive, Perfect Tour Company!"
Over the years we have engaged various tour companies, and found Pereira Tours in a class of its own. The company is exceptionally responsive, and communicated itineraries and pricing that were accurate and accommodating to our needs. We first encountered Pereira Tours when I was unable to obtain a rental car in high season, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Looking back, we now can’t imagine visiting St. Kitts for the first time not using Liz’s services.
Both the Full Island Tour, and the Explore Nevis Tour, were extraordinary. On the Full Island Tour, our guide provided a very nice overview of the history of the island, and was engaging and knowledgeable. He truly seemed to enjoy sharing his knowledge with us, and we appreciated that very much. The same was true with the Nevis Tour, plus, the lunch at Pinneys Beach was very good!
In addition, Pereira Tours arranged transportation for us throughout our entire stay on the island, and even secured a restaurant reservation when I was unable to do so. A car was not necessary at all, as taxi’s or pre-arranged drivers were readily available.
We give two thumbs up to this tour company, and very, very highly recommend it for your trip to St. Kitts, whether it’s your first time on the island, or as a returning visitor.

Nearly all of our daily arrangements were made by Liz Pereira, of Pereira Tours, www.lizpereirastourstore.shutterfly.com. I met Liz online through facebook, and was in touch with her constantly for months before our trip. She replied to every question I had with either an answer or a link to go to for all the information I wanted. I can’t imagine having gone to St Kitts without having her to lean on and guide us in the right directions, arranging our tour, catamaran, dining, suggesting options for our site seeing, shopping, beach and shack hopping, as well as an auto rental, and more. Her knowledge and kind disposition took the worry off of where to go and what to do. We kept in touch daily by a phone provided for us by the cottage owners, Ricky and Penny Pereira www.stkittsrealty.com, yet, through Liz, our local calls were paid for – HOW AMAZING IS THAT FOR A FIRST TIME TRIP? She was available to us 24/7. I’ll definitely contact Liz Pereira for our next trip. How fortunate we are to have a friend in her now! We just love her – she’s the best!
