The photos above:  Left; Logan Observatory, a self designed roll-off roof observatory located in the White Mountains of north eastern Arizona elevation 7,400 feet (2,600 meters) ASL.  Center; IC 1396, The Elephant Trunk Nebula in Cephus captured in hydrogen alpha with a Meade DSI Pro II monochrome camera through a WO ZS-66ED refractor.  Right; Bill Logan, chief astronomer and astrophotographer who drank too much coffee before a night of imaging.  Cameras are Meade DSI Pro II monochrome and StarShoot Autoguider (SSAG) as an autoguider.

Wow spectacular photos - what an astronomer you are! On the other hand, I am crazy for meteorology, especially typhoons (hurrianes) and tornados.
