We will be having nominations for officers at the Jan. meeting with elections in February. This would allow officers to take over 1st. of March (when Huey took the job).
Please give this some consideration prior to the meeting.
Thank you - see you all Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Welcome to the Lorain County Woodcarvers' Club. Our main goal is to promote and encourage wood carving throughout the county. This includes chip carving, relief carving, whittling, in-the-round carving, pyrography and much more. The level of experience of our members range from "beginner" to "Master Carver".
Business meetings are held at 7pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Lucy Idol Center (see map below). Also, we have an "OPEN CARVE" night at 7pm, the FIRST and LAST Wednesday of the month at the same location, and the third Wednesday at the Carriage Barn at Mill Hollow - check the calendar for dates and times to be sure.
Not sure if you have an interest in carving? Check out our calendar below and stop in on an "Open Carve" night and chat with the members. Do a little carving yourself to see what it's like! See what members are working on.
Want to become a MEMBER? Simply print the Club Membership Form under the "FILES" section, bring it to an Open Carve or Business Meeting or mail to Bob Lipscomb.
NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME!
Hope to see you there!
