After watching A Christmas Story, club member, Bob Phelan, got inspired to do some mindless carving and create a Ralphy carving!

Georgene Main did an outstanding job on this pyrography of a birdhouse.  Included in the detail are holly, acorns and several different birds.  Simply beautiful!  She stated she will be adding some color - will definitely get another picture when she finishes.

Ron Turton, working on his latest project, woodburning about a zillion lines into feathers on his duck decoy! LOL! LOTS of work and time! There is no project too daunting for Ron. He makes anything from hand-carved airbrushed fish to fireplace mantles to birds to specialty storage boxes with sides that look like hand-tooled leather to walking sticks with carvings of venomous snakes wending their way to the handle!
