Suzanne Kristoff, another person who can help you to solve (or at least RESEARCH) any woodcarving, painting or finishing problems you may have! She is a wealth of information and a talented woman with a pile of red and blue ribbons from the county fair, just like our buddy, Charlie! They're good!

58498_129116130471501_122631341119980_145222_1973836_n.jpg

Always a source of pleasant tunes, Carl selects and plays his flutes all during the show. He demonstrates the ease with which one may teach oneself to play the flute!

58679_129114603804987_122631341119980_145189_7621234_n.jpg
And then there's Judy! Judy Kirk-painter, pen and ink artist, pencil drawings, jewelry maker, pyrographer, carver, and the list goes on! This is one awesomely talented woman! And not only does she make masterpieces of all kinds, but when she gets a chance, she not only takes commissions for these works of art, but she also takes on students and teaches them how to paint, draw, woodburn, etc. for themselves!

61618_129115277138253_122631341119980_145209_6307769_n.jpg
Ron Turton, working on his latest project, woodburning about a zillion lines into feathers on his duck decoy! LOL! LOTS of work and time! There is no project too daunting for Ron. He makes anything from hand-carved airbrushed fish to fireplace mantles to birds to specialty storage boxes with sides that look like hand-tooled leather to walking sticks with carvings of venomous snakes wending their way to the handle!

58679_129114607138320_122631341119980_145190_3976888_n.jpg

Some of the sunniest dispositions you'd ever want to meet!
Seated-Georgene Main, who is our show chairman, is the lady who orchestrated everything from beginning to end. Talk about a lady who is on top of things! Wow!
Crouching-Sand Sikora, who brought out the smiles in us all and pitched in at the raffle table during two days of the show!
Standing-Bob Phelan, one of our newest members, but already an avid carver, is our multi-talented webmaster for this site!

Paul Roth is a master carver! He can carve just about anything! You frequently find him donating his time at the Merry-Go-Round Museum in downtown Sandusky, Ohio, carving and sanding carousel horses and teaching others his art! Thanks, Paul, for all you are and all you do!

Jeff Long, published professional photographer, maker of flutes and long-time carver, photographed one project from each of our members' displays, and will send the photos in to a nationally known magazine for us soon. Chip Chats magazine publishes a nice selection of our members' projects yearly, giving us national exposure.

Mr. Bob Ommert, with his table of carvings. The indian on the left is carved from a piece of tree that surrounds a deer antler! The tree grew right around it after the antler was lost, and Bob found that someone in the flea market had it for sale. He bought it and created this beautiful peice from it!

Bob is one of our newer members, and has really taken off with the craft. Here, he is woodburning, making floral and nature designs on cottonwood bark and other mediums!
