A jogger said that he spoke with the person who picked him up. He was picked up by someone driving a white van who said they were going home to Palestine, TX. We think the person was just trying to help him, but we really need to find him. He has back problems, and a very sensitive digestive system. He is also afraid of loud noises. Also, the shelter will not adopt out a pit bull breed because of their reputation. They are the first ones who need to be aware that you are looking for him. Owner needs to put out flyers and go to the shelter with pictures then to the sherif's dept to personally speak to the animal control officer and show his pic there as well. This is when she was younger, but she has long ears and is a tri-color basset hound. Our sweet little basset hound came up missing around Feb. 2009. We live in Elkhart in the vicinity of the golf course. She was our sweet baby girl. She was recently spayed when she vanished, so she should have a scar. I have more pictures if someone thinks they know where she is. She would be a bit over a year old. I won't ask any questions if I can only get her back. She is a special girl, having gone through many health problems as a puppy and she pulled through with lots of love and care to become a great pet. My children and I would love to have her returned.
