Mission Statement

This site is intended to begin the lengthy task of documenting and showcasing our robber flies. The goal is to disseminate information for those interested and develop a statewide database for this Family. Prior to my efforts, there has been no such entity outside of the brilliantly and well documented data that Gayle and Jeanell Strickland from Baton Rouge, Herschel Raney and Norman Lavers from Arkansas and Zack Lemann from the Audubon Insectarium in New Orelans had already had knowledge of and accumulated. I thank all of you sincerely for the help and guidance.
