Bono ran a 3.99 in practice on Saturday 12/11....his 1st time ever to run under 4 seconds!!! (practically unheard of for an Aussie)  We're happy, but not surprised....Jon & I knew that Bono has MAJOR drive & loves the game of flyball. 

Bono had his best tournament to date--he ran almost all 4.0's & 4.1's in the start position...he even ran a 4.05 & 4.07 towards the end of the 2nd day!  Also, Bono's team "Full Throttle" had it's best time ever...a 16.31 (all 4 dogs' total).  And Trendy got to warm up a few times before races...she's coming along & should be racing soon.

Bono's team "Shake 'n Bake" finished in 2nd place overall in their division after a strong comeback on Sunday. Bono helped his team earn 2nd place by beating another dog in a tie-breaking 5th heat of the last race running in the anchor (4th) position.  Bono is moving up to the "C" team for our next tournament in August, due to his solid performance. 

Bono ran a new Fast time of 4:02 on the 18th of July.

Bono raced today (June 12th) in a flyball tournament & ran his personal best time of 4.06 seconds-which makes him one of the fastest Aussies in our Region (Region #5-includes Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana & Oklahoma)

This is his 1st tournament to pass a dog in every race & only his 2nd tournament EVER to run in every race for his team!!! He did awesome & we're very proud of him. 

Bono also earned another 300 points in this tournament, for a total of 1,000 cumulative points earned & achieved FDCh-Silver status (Flyball Dog Champion).

Bono & some folks from the Dallas Disc Club did a frisbee demo on Fri. Bono ran in every race for team "Fourwarned" & his fastest time was 4.17 seconds!  He also earned another 502 points, for a total of 702 cumulative points earned, and achieved an FDCH title (Flyball Dog Champion) at the Spring Fling Tournament in New Caney, TX- May 8-9, 2010.

Bono raced in his 1st official Flyball Tournament in New Caney, TX over this past weekend--April 10 & 11, 2010.  His best time was 4.20 seconds in a complete run--bringing the ball back over all 4 jumps--AND he earned his FD "Flyball Excellence" (for 20 points) & FDX "Flyball Dog Excellence" title (for 100 points), achieving 200 overall points in 3 races.  Our next tournament is May 8-9 in New Caney again.   Check out his races in the video section below.

 

Bono's fastest flyball time is now 4.08 seconds, beating his previous best time of 4.09 seconds, at Sunday's flyball practice.

Bono's newest fast time is 4.09 seconds, beating his previous fastest time by a whole 10th of a second. 

Bono surpassed his fastest flyball time of 4.25 seconds with 4.19 seconds today at Flyball practice!  He's just starting to figure out that he's racing another dog.  Pretty soon he'll be passing a dog in the same lane, then he'll be ready to race in a tournament!

Bono's best time for a full run in flyball practice is a 4.25 seconds. A good fast time for a typical Aussie is 4.2-4.3 seconds, but Bono isn't your typical Aussie. He's getting better, faster & more consistent each week!  He'll be racing in a tournament real soon!  Stay tuned for updates.

Trendy graduated from Puppy Class Thurs. Feb. 25th.  She can move onto the Beginner's Class now.  She's also taking lessons in beginner frisbee & flyball (no jumping, though, until 1 yr. old)
