Greetings and Aloha my fellow Missionaries to the Islands...
WOW... can you believe that its already Easter Week... the
reason we are even going to Maui, is all summed up in this
Holy Week... Our Lord and Savior died for us, then He Rose again, so we could Love others, and share the Gospel in tangible ways, ... Construction, Loving kids with a camp, drama's in the mall, or Salvation Bracelets in the Airport! It's ALL FOR HIS GLORY, and to Bring Him Praise and Honor... WOW... how Amazing is that! and... We get to
do it right Here, AND in Hawaii!!!
We have another meeting a Week from this Sunday, on
April 19th... 4pm in the EC, which is sneaking up on us...
and... $700 dollars will be due by that day... I think some of you are going to put it all in at once, but over the years, I have found out through personal experience, that if you put in whatever you have, God sometimes seems to increase our Faith as we go along! Also, you tend NOT to spend that money on something that "Just Comes Up"... something will "Always seem to just come up"... so I want to encourage you to keep moving forward... GOD and I want you on this trip!!! Don't get discouraged, even tho at times you might... Remember the Ultimate Goal... To Bring God Glory!
2 Cor. 5:7 says "that we Walk by Faith and Not by sight"... and then Nahum 1:7 says... "The Lord is Good, a strong-hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in HIM!"
Keep trusting in our God... He is Faithful... He is the Only one Faithful!
I Love you all, and am Praying for you all... Lift each other up in prayer, as the Lord brings people to your mind... continue to Journal, - except Josh... :)))... and get on the Maui website to check out new things, and talk to each other...
You are ALL about to experience some Miracles... In YOUR
life and in the Lives of Others!!!

This is going to be a life changing trip & the biggest group we have ever taken on the mission field besides our local outreaches! I can't wait to see what God is going to do not only in your lives, but in the lives of those in Maui! Start praying for them everyday... ask God to prepare the hearts of those you will be talking and ministering to... and that includes the construction crew too! God is getting ready to use you and your skills and talents in a new and fresh way!
Be prepared to come back different... changed forever. I see it happen on every trip I go on... remember, you will get out of this trip what you put into it. God has called and hand-picked every one of you for this trip... GET READY!

Construction Team Fundraising Update: Chuck & Denise just turned in 250.00 in donations this weekend, they said the funds came from their bible study group that meets in Ramona, Thankyou to the Ramona group for such a generous donation, the total is now around 360.00 and climbing.............have faith that god will provide, take a bold step and speak up to your co-workers and neighbors you'll be surprised!

You're right Travis.. fundraising and working together makes it real. Because we all have the same goal and purpose that we're working towards, and when these are accomplished it makes you feel good and know we're that much closer to the deadline! so, we need people to get involved to make it a success :). we are looking forward to the spaghetti dinner on Sunday. So, whoever is commited just sign up, don't wait for someone to call you and tell you what to bring or do...Thanks guys!

For next Sunday , who would like to do a fundraiser such as: A PANCAKE BREAKFAST,w/ sausage or bacon , orange slices and juice or coffee/tea . or A SPAGHETTI DINNER w/ garlic bread, salad and drink. You could even have dessert with dinner, pies are good or cookies. We can do one or the other, and alternate each week. Any comments?

wow 700 deposit was due this past Sunday. God works in mysterious was but it's all for a purpose. I'm not perfect and I never will be! I've been looking for love in all the wrong places and I'm thrilled that the kids camp is all based on the love of Christ! In my life I've learned that God is the only pure perfect love out there and it's there for me and you! All we have to do is reach out our hands :)
God is truly amazing so keep praying and seeking him!

WOW, WOW, and WOW!!! Time is getting closer to "BlastOff"! I am SO excited... what a Powerful Team we have going... I am looking so forward to the Meeting this Sunday... Last Thursday I went to Auntie Clydie's house and took a couple of pictures. She is 67, has a small house with problems in her bathroom. Her floor in front
of her tub is soft and it appears that the wood under the tile floor is rotten. We will have to remove the tub and replace the floor. She also has a small amount of exterior damage that could use repair.

Upcoming Fasting Days - April 1st to April 12th
Biblically, fasting is abstaining from food, drink, sleep or sex to focus on a period of spiritual growth. Specifically, we humbly deny something of the flesh to glorify God, enhance our spirit, and go deeper in our prayer life.
Jesus does’nt command us to fast, however, it doesn't mean that fasting isn't recommended as a part of our spiritual growth. Acts shows us believers fasting before they made important decisions Acts 13:4; 14:23. Fasting and prayer are often married together Luke 2:37; 5:33. Too often, the focus of fasting is on the “taking away of food.” A’ole! the purpose of fasting is to take our eyes off the things of this world and focus on God. Fasting is a way to show God and to ourselves that we are serious about our relationship with Him. Although fasting in Scripture is almost always a fasting from food, there are other ways to fast. Anything you can temporarily give up in order to better focus on God can be considered a fast: TV, Internet, Secular Music, Smoking, Drinking, Drug-ing, Shopping, Hanging Out, 1 Corinthians 7:1-5. Fasting should be limited to a set time, especially when fasting from food. Extended periods of time without eating are harmful to the body. Fasting is not intended to punish our flesh, but to focus on God.
Don’t hesitate “JUST DO IT!” “E ho'a'o no i pau kuhihewa.” Try it to end the panic. we could stress out worrying about how we going do-um NIKE puts it good, "Just do it!"
