Welcome to my photojournal! I'm the kind of person that find it hard to express myself through words and sentences... So hopefully, with this journal, i'm able to share my life journey and valuable memories through all the photos that i've taken, with all of you....
You'll find day-to-day pictures I've taken and the interesting stories behind them here. Visit regularly to see what's new.
I was given the honour to be one of the photographer for my school 90 aniversary celebrations.... it was real fun....
I get to know about this celebration coincidently from my visiting students during cny... and it triggered my curiosity. So, i tried my very best to persuade my hubby to accompany me there. As you know, my hubby really hates crowds and heat....But out of LOVE...hahahaha...he agreed...
The celebration started from 3pm and ended at 10pm....but the peak of the celebration is at night...we reach there around 6.30pm.... and we spend around 5 minutes to get a parking, considered ourself lucky....
The place are packed with people, just as what we aspected.... wow.... you cant imagine the heat and the stuffiness generated....hahhhaha..pity my hubby...he was sweating like hell.... Well...after going around the stalls and booths and taking a few snaps of here and there... we decided to leave... (time spent = 1 hour) hahahaha....
We are both desperate to find somewhere with air-conditioning...hahaha...spoilt town kids...
But apart from the sweat, heat, and rude pedestrians.... it was a fun night...hehehhehe....
Last Saturday was a school replacement for chinese new year celebration....but it is not just any school replacement day with boring classrooms and packed syllabus to make up for the actual day of schooling ...It is, infact a fun and enjoying afternoon for us, residents of the school...
The afternoon kick started at 12.30pm with STEAMBOAT...hahahaha, it must be a little odd for you to hear this...as it was to me last year when i was first transfered here.... but i guess it is one of my school tradition...nevertheless, aside from the sweating, cramming and the fact that we are forced to pay RM10 for the gathering,...it was actually quite fun...for me at least....hahahaha....
I have 9 more teachers joining me as 1 group for the steamboat.... as i was a great fan for mushrooms... i brought golden needle mushrooms and abalone mushrooms to add on....and some of my collegues bring chilles and sambal to spice things out...Things are going quite smoothy in my group....i considered that as a bless...cause not all the groups are as lucky....
I really pity the group sitting next to our table... it seems that something was wrong with their stove, and no matter what they did...the steamboat just wont boil...I think at the end, they gave up and just thrown everything away.... hai...RM10 gone just like that...
Another group which seated behind my table was doing quite well until there was a teacher, coming out of nowhere, poured in a bag of vegetable into their steamboat!!!! Guess what....
THE VEGETABLES ARE ROTTEN!!!! and the whole soup became SOUR!! End of steamboat session for them....hahahaha... (See the photo below this entry for the expression of some teachers)
When a girl is in trouble, she will always wish that there is a prince charming riding on a white horse coming for d rescue.... although not every gals dream came true...mine did (apart from the white horse and bla bla bla)...hahahaha ....
After long and frustrating hours spent infront of my sick computer, my hero manage to restore everything back to normal... woo hoo.... and return my whole world to me (cyber world)...I LOVE YOU..DARLING...
You are my HERO!
At first, it is just the internet thing...we suspected that the internet system crashes with my computer system...then by not going online, we thought the computer will still be ok... but it seems that our guesses are wrong.... my computer is not working altogether tonight although the internet is not even connected...hai..something must be teribbly wrong with 'him'...
My life will be so helpless and meaningless without my com... hai...just keep my finger crossed that my hubby is able to fix it...by the way, i'm using his notebook now while he is trying his best to cure my com...hhahahhaha...guess, he have to suffer until my com is good and healthy again!...
Last friday one of my exstudent came to school with a variety of chinese new year's delicacies which range from mouth watering cookies to crunchy fried snacks... There are all absolutely delicious and would really help you to make quite an impression infront of your visiting guests during this chinese new year.... Among all, there is one particular type of cookies that really manage to seduce my tastebuds entirely...and it is the almond cookies... love it...hehehhehe.

I was coincidently in Gurney Plaza with hubby when Yoga Lin came for his latest album promo... the lucky thing is, i have my camera with me... This is the first time i see this guy in person... to tell you the truth, i don even know any of his songs.....hahahahaha....The session suppose to start at 3pm... but, as we all know, PUNCTUALITY is never their thing...so, while waiting for him to make his big entrance, the host for that show helps to drag the time by cracking some stupid jokes and desperately trying to warm up the young and eager fans standing infront of the stage...
After half an hour later, he shows up...making his way to the stage from the opening right infront of me...hahahaha... and of course, upon his arrival... my both ears started to gone through a series of torment....(refering to the screaming and shouting of the fans)... and as it was really hot, stuffy and noisy... i left after i manage to get a few snap of him....hahhhhaha.....
Due to Thaipusam celebration around my school area, all of us in the afternoon session finish at 5.10pm tomorro....yeah...So, this means that i will reach home around six... plenty of time to shop with hubby around in QBay....But, then again, i don really have much money to shop anywhere... hai... guess i have to bear the mental torture of looking at people around me walk with big small bags of goodies on their arms... I WANT MONEY....MONEY MONEY MONEY....Sob Sob Sob....
Last night, on my way home, i dropped by at a hypermarket near my house to restock some of the gal stuffs and also to refill my pity empty wallet from the ATM (First day of pay). As it was raining and i was pretty lazy to stop by another place for dinner, i decided to get dinner from the 'finger licking good' outlet in the complex itself. As i was queuing up at the counter, something caught my eyes.... It seems that there is something new in the menu.... The Shrimp Heartles...(Modified shrimp stix to heart shape)...the first thing that came across my mind was, why call shrimp heartles? Are they trying to tell people that the shrimp they use have no heart or they have already predicted that customer will have no heart for this item.... Hahaha..funny...I would rather call it shrimp heartlet if you ask me.....
As i was quite a fan of the shrimp stix (although it is not worth it and overpriced as been said by most of you, but liking is an individual thing), so, i bought the heartless shrimp, 4 heart shape shrimp nugget, each the shape of a normal heart shape nugget...for RM6.00....hahaahha.... even more expensive than the shrimp stix....
As aspected, it tasted more aless like the shrimp stix, just that, now the shrimp to flour ratio in lower than that of the shrimp stix.... meaning more flour less shrimp... but the real turnoff for me is the additional indian spice taste!! The mixture of the tastes are just not compatible and, WEIRD....
So, instead of improving their initial product, this time, KFC really make it worst....even a shrimp lover like me that cant resist anything that made of shrimp will never purchase it again...Hai...Too bad!!
(Sorry, no photos illustration this time...too hungry, eaten everything before remembered to preserve the evidents)
Hahahahhaha......
Today i'm having siew mai, sui kow, loh mai kai and tua bak pau for lunch...guess, where i eat my lunch? My SCHOOL CANTEEN!!!
I bet you'll never aspect one can able get tim sum in the school canteen... well, welcome to SMJK Perempuan China Pulau Pinang.... besides tim sum, our canteen also provides a variety of noodles and rice in their menu....(with pork)....
Well, don be surprise...its a culture here. Infact all the SMJK s here allow their canteen to sell pork... funny? but true...
So, just consider ourself lucky to teach in these schools.... wahahahaha....
And for dinner, i packed beef kueh tiaw soup... it cost me RM8.00..but honestly, it is quite worth it, cause, both me and my hubby cant even finish it....
The photos of my lunch and dinner are displayed above this.... savour it...woohoo!!...
Its monday again!! and i need to struggle another 5 more working days before another 2 days break arrive... too bad this year, Thaipusam falls on saturday...no extra holidays for us...sob sob.... I have a feeling that next Monday will be more dragful for me...as my hubby got replacement holiday for Thaipusam and i don't...hai...
I can't wait for CNY to arrive... really looking forward to the good food my mother in law cooks and the long relaxing holidays...maybe this will be some kind of motivation for me to crawl through these coming two weeks.....lets just keep our fingers crossed.
Me and hubby just came back from a movie...a real complete local production..and, the funny thing is, it is miraculously, unexpectally GOOD... Its hard to find a movie these days that are able to make you laugh like an innocent kid and cry like a baby....but i've found it....a movie that is able to ignite the warmth and joy within the heart....
With the good filming technique, nice views, good casts, excellent storyline and not forgetting the incredible dialogs....this movie hooks your body and mind and keeps you glued onto the chair of the cinema until the end of the show...
This is indeed one of the best movie i've seen in 2009-2010... and a movie that should be highly recommented to all Malaysian... Woo hoo....
MALAYSIA BOLEH!!
Yup..today is another school replacement day that EVERYONE HATES ...hai.... and the worst thing is, the school end as usual..this means that i will only reach home, the earliest, 8pm!!...another one saturday KILLED!
This is the time when you wish you are not a TEACHER.... As much as you hate spending your time in school in the weekends, infront of the students, you still have to act as if you are looking forward to meet them up AGAIN as if 5 days a week is not enough....
That's why i always say, to be a successful teacher, you have to be FIRST, a successful actor.....
There was a very bad jam just now during my journey home from school.... UNEXPECTED.... and i was delayed almost an hour to reach home..hai... must be some kind of accident in the bridge or else the traffic wont be that bad after the expanding of the penang bridge....
Pity my poor legs.... as i was using a manual car, my leg muscles have to struggle in order to continuously contract and relax to coordinate the movement of the car clutch.....em....have to start planning for auto car..... hahahahaha......
