Hello family and friends,

Lyonsdenn Family
We would like to wish all of our family and friends a Happy and Blessed holiday season. For Christmas we went home to Alabama. We got to spend time with family and the kids got to spend valuable time with their great grandmother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. You can’t imagine the fun you can have being with family. My sisters and I got to play cards with the husbands and the husbands beat the kids at a friendly game of monopoly. Needless to say, the time spent at home was wonderful. Below you can enjoy pictures of our vacation and some when we returned back home to Florida at the beach. May God bless you in 2009. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

(sorry to keep repeating we are trying to see which blog is better)
Today, I attended a piece of history in the making. I took part in an event that I will remember for the rest of my life. I heard Michelle Obama deliver the most dynamic speech today at the Pensacola Civic Center. I also experienced what some of my readers may have years ago. They may have stories when they took part in a civil rights march, heard Martin Luther King Jr. speak or saw him in person. This to me was an opportunity that I can share with my children and their children one day, when Mrs. Obama becomes our next and first black president's wife. Her speech was exuberating, moving, exciting and she touched on issues that were important to my family and I. I think that Senator Obama will do well when he makes it into the White House.

The pictures are really nice. It seems as if Ayana was enjoying herself at the celebration for her friend. She looked really pretty and grown up in her dress. I am sure that was a great experience for her.
