The fountain was just starting up, the water was filling up, and Madeline was very impatiently waiting.  A few minutes later she got nailed in the forehead with water shooting out of that very spot.  She was not a happy camper, and immediately told us "I want to go HOME!!!!"

We were able to convince Madeline to take a trip to the pool (after the Farmer's Market fountain, we weren't sure she was ever going to go near water again), and she loved the floaties.

Madeline loves being in the water.  She even tried to stick her head under water.

Madeline's favourite water activity is swimming laps.  This is really just Andy or I running in the water holding her up, so she can feel the water moving past her.  Every time we stopped she wanted more more!  We both got a very good workout.

Madeline really liked "jumping" off the edge of the pool.  It was really just her leaning forward and me catching her.

Hannah, Madeline, and I took a trip to La Centerra to play in the water fountains.  Hannah LOVED it, she took off running into the water as soon as we walked up.

Madeline was more wary of the water fountain (she had just gotten "attacked" by one a few days earlier, so I was happy she even considered playing in the water).  She would only play with this water shoot, because the water only went up about 14 inches.  She loves to get her hands wet and then splash it on her face to cool her off.

After awhile in the fountains, we changed clothes and went for ice cream at cold stone.  The girls LOVED it!

Hannah and Madeline decided that swimming was a waste of time and opted to "fix" Hannah's lawnmower by pouring the entire contents of the swimming pool on it one cup at a time. 

Madeline turned 2 years old 10 days ago, but has been a 2 year old in spirit for the past few months.  She is really only particular about her clothes.  She is very specific about what she wants to wear every morning, and will not put up with anything else.  But with each new fit comes a very adorable character development, so in all 2 years old is shaping up to be a very fun time.
