8.8.10 The MAWE Hike on Broadwell Hill
These are the photos from the Multi-generational Appalachian Woodland Explorers (MAWE) group's August 2010 event on Broadwell Hill. Many Thanks to Karen for taking these photos and sharing them with us!
There were 20 people in attendance, with a very nice multigenerational presence. We reviewed the maps, explored the woods for about 3 hours and enjoyed wonderful connections, conversations and a splendid potluck meal. Amateur radio communications were maintained with the Motherhouse during the hike; in case assistance was needed and to test the systems.
