Here are a few pictures that I took of the Moon with a telescope to get close up pictures and then stiched 27 individual photos together to make the picture of the first crescent phase of the moon. The far left photo is an early stage of stitching whereas the far right photo is completed stitching but before brushing to smooth out the lines. This work was done in Photoshop Elements v7. In pulling the various individual photos into the master, I had to increase the size of the canvas to allow a larger canvas to accommodate the 27 individual photos.
I have also included a rough picture of M-57, the Ring Nebula, that is about 6000 light years away in the constellation Lyrae as well as a reddish moon that occurs during an eclipse and a pic of Jupiter. The two pretty ladies are my late mother and my daughter who lives in Dallas.
