Summer hours Monday - Saturday 11 - 5 starting June 15th! We opened this year WEDNESDAY APRIL 23, 2009 and we have had many new and returning customers - thanks to all! 4th of July party and parade
Come on down to the store. Starting at 11am on the 4th, we'll celebrate with ice cream, cake, watermelon and soda. There WILL be a parade - please join in!
New Post Office up and running, almost time for summer hours
Wanda's getting settled in at the Post Office/Parsonage, newly (and beautifully) renovated by Maury. The kids are finishing up with school for the year, and we are starting summer hours next Monday the 15th! Happy summer and hope to see you soon!
Store Opening
Seeing the faces of spring and hearing lots of planes today! And there is sun!!!!!!!!!! We have some beautiful little purple flowers out front and some around back too. Spring WILL get here - we can outlast the lion.
Planning to clean out the shop space and get the store ready in the next couple of weeks. We will start placing our orders late next week. It looks like we will be open 3-6 M-Sat and Weds 8-6 (we will be restocking most items on Tuesdays). Thanks for the suggestion, June.

Matinicus Island Post Office to reopen at Parsonage
Have not heard an exact date, but Maury Colton has been hard at work getting the new Post Office ready at the Parsonage thanks to the great work of the Church Trustees, Wanda, Maury and others, we are ever so grateful.

Hi all, This is 10-6-09. We are back in Florida for the winter. Boy did we have fun this summer on the Island. We went to the store for water. They were so very nice to us each time there. We are Stephanie Hiller's Aunt and Uncle so we stayed at the Stan Hiller cottage as we were doing some work for Steve & Dodie Hiller. Its so very nice there. We sure enjoyed our stay. Also Marty, Island Lobter was so good to us. Getting us and out thing back and forth to the Island & Main land. What a sweet man he is. Hope the babies & Jodi are good. Love you all Tom & Dixie
